anti-hijack sr-i500??

ok i just finished installing the sr-i500 alram on my busa but i dont know how to use this anti hijack feature...i get on the bike start it up and then try with the remote to turn off the engine, but nothing happens, on the pager or the bike...
like i said everythin else works fine if its off and armed and i walk past it will go off if i hit it it will go off, if i turn the key to 'on' it wont start up and the alarm goes off, if i tilt it it goes off, i didnt test the bat backup, but i'm guessing that works fine to, so the only other thing is being able to turn it off once the engine is on...
an help would be great!
and another thing, i tried all the buttons but maybe its a combo button press or somethin if it is let me know what button to press, there is only 4 so i'm sure its not that complicated, thanx

First off It does work as long as you tied into the wiring harness in the right place and then you have to hold down the 2 outside buttons at the same time, once the alarm starts going off then it takes around 20 sec and then shuts the bike off but only if you have the relay tied into the right wire for the ignition. Hope that helps.

I had the same problem. I'm sure I just used the wrong wire. Dang. Now I have to track down the right one and redo it.

Remove the two bolts holding the fuse box , turn it over and cut the solid orange wire. Its directly behind the ignition fuse.

ok i used the orenge with white stripe wire, its next to the maine fuse, and it worked fine, thanx for the help

I just did my alarm and had the same problem (used Iceman's yellow w green stripe cuz I thought my wire harness was same as his) - mines a 2005 busa
In my attached pic, the grey plug has two red wires, one a little bigger than the other, and then the yel/grn wire that i used (goes to starter) and a blk/yel wire. but over on the left are more wires, a red/blu, and of course a orange/white - is this orange/white you can see in the pic on the left (looks like it goes into a relay) - is this the wire I'm supposed to use on 05 busa?  thanks to anyone who can save me another wrong wire cut

Ok , got my wife to help

pulled the connector from the left side with the O/w wire and rigged some little jumper wires back to the plug, had her hold em all on while I started up, then she pulled the jumper for the O/w wire and engine stopped - so made my cuts and crimps and its all done! I'll test the alarm tomorrow - should work since it all worked fine cept the engine didnt cut off during the hijack mode - just warning beeps and alarm and flashing lights

The O/W wire is the fuel pump power. Since the bike is EFI, it'll stop the bike pretty fast.

so which wire do we use for the ignition? I'm like right in the middle of doing this install as I type and need to know ... a picture is worth a thousand words too

anyone? I haveta get this thing back together tonight after work and really would like to know which wire to use... dont think using the fuel system one is the best plan, so want to make sure I have the ignition wire

orange/white is fine. As long as it cuts off it doesnt matter.

So will it hurt the bike if you cut the fuel on a fuel injected bike? Will it hurt the injectors? I only ever plan to test this once to make sure shid works and then will likely be shooting someone when I have to actually invoke it for real

Thanks for the great info, I used the Org/White on my 05 Busa and it works great, no start and the (FI) Light is on when you try to start it with it armed.
