Any clutch meisters out there....?

Update....

Well I've bitten the bullet and ordered a complete clutch kit (all plates & springs) to try to resolve my clutch 'switch' problem. Described the symptoms to a senior tech at Crescent Motorcycles and he was adamant that it would simply be clutch wear. Bike has done 40k and not sufficient history to tell if it's been changed previously so hey, in for a penny........

Opted for genuine Suzuki parts as popular thinking seems to be that aftermarket clutch kits are not as robust as OE - anyone got any experience of this? I spoke to a drag racer with a modified Busa last year who had been racing for 4 years on the original Suzuki clutch...

2 seized/snapped bolts in the outer casing has created some extra work but sorted now and just waiting for the clutch parts to arrive. Santa Pod a week today so no pressure......

NB. Taking the plug/coil caps off to replace spark plugs turned into a Holy Quest..... The steel heat shield on coil numbers 1 & 3 had corroded and split. This had in turn split the plastic outers and the whole thing had become swollen and seized into the holes! Ultimately had to lever them off with a very large flat blade screwdriver.

My success turned to horror when my man at Crescent MC quoted me £97.51 each....!!!!!!!
