Any MODS for TALL Riders???

I'm looking to become a new Busa owner and trade up from an R1100RT. I'm 6' 5" and it's almost un-comfortable to ride the stock bike. Are there any mods to move the foot pegs to the rear of the bike. Any adjustment would make a big difference.

Do a search on the Tobin seat mod, and the buell peg mod. Should give you a few more inches to play with.

I'm 6'5 and the Buell peg mod did the trick for me....search it and you'll find everything you need...part #'s step by step etc.

I bought a set of Pro-tek foot pegs that gave me an inch of extra leg room. They were about $45 and there was no modding or extra parts required. Adjustable rearsets will give you more room, but they cost over $300.

The 96-99 GSXR750 pegs or TL pegs will lower about 3/4" and keep the same groung clearance.

I have a new set of Buell pegs I never installed that I will sell for 25.00 including shipping to US & posessions.

I am 6'4 with 35" inseam. I took the rubber block off the top of the footpegs. $0. Remove 2 screws and off they come. I'm looking to do something that will make them look a little better, but it's a quick and easy 1" gain in leg room.

Any of the above mods should help. I went to the Lockhart Phillips LP360 adjustable footpegs and love them. Sadly, they don't make these anymore. I'm also 6'5"........

They do not have any pictures of them on their site yet and their design isn't the coolest looking (personal opinion) but Cycle Cat has a set of rearsets out for the Hayabusa that are fully adjustable and go approximately 1â€￾ back 3â€￾ up, 2â€￾ down. Price is LARGE (about$550 I beleive) but for the full adjustability they offer it might be well spent. Sort of makes the Buell pegs look like a bargain.

TL foot peg.  I also tried the GSXR peg.  I just didnt like the feel for the peg.  Definetly shorter in length compared with the stock foot peg and TL foot peg.  I also liked the fact that the TL foot peg maintained some of the rubber. Helps out with vibration.
