Any NBA fans out there?

These guys are going to give me a heart attack....Heat by 7 again.

Where you at Blanca? I need you to help my cheer for Da' Heat baby!

The refs are calling every little thing against the Heat and almost nothing against the Mavs. This is a bad crew.

I done told ya son.....

Halftime came and so did the call....

Psssst hey ref.....the money is in the locker

I don'y buy that, I think they just suck! Glad we could hold on to the win but I would be b****en about the bad calls even if they were in the Heats favor.

I can't see how anyone can like the Heat unless you are from Miami. The Heat are bad for the NBA. Sure, you have the band wagon fans who always pick a winner but what is to stop 3 other superstars from forming another team and playing for, let's say, 5 mill per year so that they could sign other players who don't make a ton off of endorsements. What that means is that there will only be about 3 or 4 good teams. Small market teams could not compete. At that point, you no longer have a league, you only have exhibitions such as the harlem globetrotters. I hope the next collective bargaining agreement does something about forming teams in this manner. The NBA should just go to a hard salary cap so that the OKCs, NOs, and Utahs can continue to compete.

I agree the the CBA needs to revamp the way of the NBA, but you don't have to be from Miami to like them. I have been a fan of theres for several years, I let a buddy of mine turn me. I was a Washington Bullets fan.

And if the 3 superstars you speak of were playing for the Mavs would you feel the same?
While I agree with what you say it is an unfortunate part of the nature of the beast. Let's see your philosophy applied to say the New York Yankees.
Big cities will always have the draw and money to pay the big stars.
I simply am rooting for the Heat because they are a Florida team and same as Marlins and the Panthers and LASTLY the Dolphins I root for my home state teams.

The yankees are bad for baseball. The rest of major league is their farm club. Baseball is slowly declining. There is even talk that soon, baseball may not be one of the 3 major sports in the U.S. Soccer may pass them. That is sad considering baseball is called Americas greatest pass time, or something like that. Baseball should also go to some kind of cap. Football has a hard cap and look how popular it is. There is parity in the sport.
