Anyone else getting excited about the World Cup!!?

Yep, Go Brasil! Sorry Takeuon, my wife is from Sao Paulo. My Mother-in-law has already sent Team Jerseys for everyone in our home. Should be great fun, but not a great reason to miss the riding season!

I agree :beerchug: they played a good game. I think they were in a good position to win that game. Will have to see how things progress.

And it starts raining goals....Argentina scored with their excellent forward attack. Probably the best striking team in this world cup.
 
Is it just me or does anyone else find it funny when the head coaches of the team yell at the referee ?
Do the refs speak every language for every team ? I dont know and dont think so ?
So when the Argentinian coach yells do they understand him ?
When the Nigerian coach yells at them do they understand him ?

If not why yell...???

I can't say I'm excited about World Cup, though I wish I would be since that's all that will be on tv.

I love hockey, so the lack of scoring doesn't turn me off to soccer. I think it's the fact that grown men look like they were beaten with a bat everytime someone tugs on their jersey. I will give it to them, they're all great athletes with superb conditioning. But their acting skills aren't even worthy of a Lifetime Network movie :whistle:

That and those damn incessant horns.
