I think they changed the movie a bit from when it was first announced about a year or so ago, seems they turned it into a matrix type movie, at first it was just a bunch of tough guys hangin around bikes chasin each other cross country, now they do back flips? I'll wait for it to come out on DVD...

So far about the best biker stuff I have seen was from M.I. II... But from what I have seen of torque it is going to be just horrible. I'll watch it on DVD when it comes out but there is no way I am going to a theater to see this. I dig Ice Cube, Friday, Next Friday, Friday after next was OK too, Ghosts of Mars was pretty decent, but this reminds me of Anaconda...which wasn't decent... I am pretty pissed allready, just from what I have seen on the previews this CGI POS is a non starter...

We can pray that Faster is better...

i agree, the story line to biker boyz was great but i think the issue is budget. movies seem rushed these days. the actors get paid so much $$$ not to mention stunt and camera crews that it seems attention to detail and good effects go out the door. what im saying is this, if i were to make a movie about cops, id hire retired lapd officers for advice and actor training, and if i were to make a movie about bikes, id hire professional bike riders for advice and training.

Me too, I gave up on hollywood surf movies years ago, now only the real deal in vids & dvd's.

I was embarrassed at bikerboyz, put my jacket back on over my Busa t-shirt. Felt like i shoulda been smackin gum with the rest of the tinnybops. sheeesh!

Look close in MI2 and you'll see they swapped from street tires to knobs when they went off road.

Must have been a pretty good pit crew!

It's going to be cheesy...we know it is, but it'll be the only movie with motorcycles in it, so we'll all watch it at some point...

When Biker Boyz hit PPV, I talked my husband in to buying it, and he kept giving me these "is this for real?" looks...didn't do much to boost my then "don't have a Busa yet" ego...still catching hell for it, actually!  

I'll watch it all alone, late at night in a closet...

a bunch of dudes.
your average dudes, 40 hour a week working corprate slaves, who do things like go to motorcycle web sites and modify their bikes them selfs to save money. dudes who hang out at a local coffe shop and after their fill on 4 shoots they hit the rode only to find out that smokey bear is on the freeway.
once spotted they ridem like they stolem and so do the cops chaseing them needless to say they get away.
and then the go celebrate with a drink at the local nudy booty club.

ok so it wasnt long or biker boyish or even good but its true and
its better then

Yeah, Now NICKSLICK's schtick, on the bigscreen with a Hollywood Budget would Fning Rock. Some sort of conceptual piece, 2 hours of hard leaning, set to some whoop ass tunes and yeah maybe some special effects, but make them near reality effects, not this inspector gadget, power ranger in the Urban environment bullsh^t....

You know how IMAX will put together a freaking 2 hour show about a damn fish.... I want IMAX to put together a two hour film about hard riding street guys doing their thing. I mean a little from the stunting crowd, a little from the blinging crowd, the roadracers, the dragracers, the long tear trough the twisties....

You know, "An On Any given Sunday" for a newer generation, a fresh look at the sporting edge of bikes...Still exciting still a rush without all the stupidity and BS...
