ARE YOU WORTHY?

I am totally aware every second I'm on my little Beasty Creature that I'm one of the few who this year have been selected by destiny to get to sit on this monster.

In a corner I always think "I should be doing better for my Busa...she's bored."

On a hard launch I think "I shoulda just cranked it and left it pinned without throttle modulation (another word for flinching).

When I lay on the brakes just for the joy of throwing the anchor into the pavement, I think "I coulda brought up the rear wheel."

In short I feel unworthy of my Busa even tho I know I'll soon catch up with her.

But that's the whole point of mods isn't it?

To keep your bike ahead of you so it scares your ass every time you even look at it.

Mods are like buying new lingerie for your woman.

Hahahahahah you are priceless!

"I am totally aware every second I'm on my little Beasty Creature that I'm one of the few who this year have been selected by destiny to get to sit on this monster."

Hahahahaha tell us again about your "little Beasty Creature" Hahahahaha Selected by destiny you are truly an idiot.

The rush, the thrill, O to cores her in ways that are unnatural..

We all must Abusa her, but only a little.. :)

We are not worthy, for her speed..
We are not worthy, for her sleekness..

Man that came out of my hands???

...I too feel lucky to be one of the few who landed a Busa ...if it wern't for a twist of fate, I'd be "stuck" on the TL.... MOD wise, what do you recomend for a cost efective up grade for the brakes and suspension on this bird? Any ideas for weight reduction?

I agree with Pete...

I'll bet most of us only use the Busa to around 15% of her capabilities. Unless you race her on a track!

TooBad...why is it you only have smartass poop to say?
Your on these boards so much, and all you are is fuckin negative to everyone here.
I don't have my Busa yet either,but i'll get it...and you'll get yours too.

well put Pete, my sentiments exactly.
I can't believe a machine can instill in me the emotions that this thing does. I love it for making me feel like a kid again. I fear it for the monster it unleashes in me that is living just below the surface.

I am not worthy! I am not worthy!

But I'm going to enjoy it, anyway!

No amount of trash posting can take that feeling away from me. If you get that feeling from another bike - that's GREAT, too! I have three other bikes, different styles and makes, and I love them all. But I'll have to admit that the Busa is special. All you other Busa owners know what I'm saying.

I don't post often. For those of you more eloquent, I enjoy reading your posts. And most Busa owners will admire your prose.

But in this "Run whatcha brung" life, enjoy whatcha brung!

Well put, riding the Falcon is it's own reward. Ever notice that actually riding you never run into people like dipstick? Eventually Kawasaki will release the 12 and there will be another Ultra bigbore on the streets. Sounds good to me, maybe Honda will throw their hat in the ring.

By that criteria I'm not worthy of my Ford Windstar van. I've never opened it up or crashed on the brakes for the fun of it. I am worthy of my vacuum cleaner because I always run it full out.

Hapo, what may be the most cost effective brake conversion is offered at Brake-Tech. They sell a set of nissin calipers and Ferodo discs that is less costly than the PFM or AP conversions.

The rotors are lighter than stock so you loose some pounds where it counts.

Everyone who owns a Busa is worthy of going much faster than the speed limits allow, but you won't be worthy of more than your med insurance limits if you cant stop in time.

Thanks for the tip, KawAbuser...what about the tendedcy to stand up when you, uh, use the brakes late in a corner...is this made more noticeable by stiffening the suspension? Am I just spoiled by the, uh, trail braking ability of the TL, or is somthing off on the geometry of this unit...it wouldn't be somthing like a triangular profile on the OEM front tire to lighten the stearing on a heavy, long, bike, would it? Is there a rounder tire that is appropriate for this bike? Would any one have run into this and perhaps tried already?
