I don't suspect any of you have heard of it, but there was an Anime that was made about 10 years ago, which featured as it's main character, a teenage martial artist, who after being dragged to china by his father for "training", fell into a cursed spring, and now, every time he gets splashed with cold water, he becomes a she. (And hot water, of course, reverses it). Since it is a comedy, much hilarity then ensues.

All these words are defined by our society to represent something. Usually they mean ONE thing, and ONE THING only. Blue can not mean "Blue, and oh yeah, Yellowish too". That is back to being silly. Can meanings change over time? Yes. Is that a good thing? Usually not. When bad words become good, we have lost all ability to define "GOOD" and "BAD" anymore. When Ill, Sick, Garbage mean something good, we've turned BAD things >>into>> GOOD thins and there is no longer any way to differenciate between Bad and Good. all definition is gone. Make sense?
So, we change words and meanings of things. Rarely, is it for the better. Isn't that strange? I just thought of that. I'm drawing a blank as to when changing/updating words is for the better. Someone find me examples please. Surely, I'm wrong in that.
Anyway, besides "marriage" the rest of the list can be found listed like "Psycologocial condition" - that is until we decide to CHANGE that. Heck, "SODOMY" USED to be defined IN THE DICTIONARY as "The ILLEGAL union".... I don't have detailed info on that, but yes that meant even with the opposite sex. That has changed. I guess people wanted it changed. But if people keep wanting to change everything, GOOD and BAD, or rather RIGHT and WRONG gets blurred and eventually bred out altogether. Much to the chagrin of the pedophiles. Lets look at them for a bit. SEXUAL attraction to children. Homosexuality is also about sexual attraction to something other than the opposite sex. It is NOT about LOVE at all, it is ONLY about sex. The definition of Homosexuality refers to sexual desires not platonic love. I'm male and LOVE my dad, my brother, my male friends, but I am not interested in them sexually. It is completely my conscious choice of how to be interested in someone in that way, male or female. MY CHOICE. Soceity deems certain sexual "INTERESTS", not just actions, but just interests as illegal. Kinda like the thought police huh? Lets throw beastiality into the mix. Again, interest AND action of sex with something other than the opposite sex. Again, a "psychological condition" usually needing some treatment to correct. Are pedophiles, fecophiliacs, beastialiters BORN with that interest? Has science show it is in the DNA genes to be attracted to children or farm animals? How is homosexuality any different? It seems exactly the same to me: an off kilter interest in sexual activity that is NOT between opposite sexes - a "psychological condition", something that used to be termed ILLEGAL by most states.
Elementary biology class explains the differences and the meaning behind being male and female. It is so simple to comprehend, we all recognize it by the age of 2 or something like that. Girl's are icky <> Boys are COOL
Each has unique parts, oddly enough, designed to fit together. That's not to say you can't do more with it - but in the end, they were designed to fit and work very well together.
Interest above and beyond that typical use gets tossed in the "psychological condition" bucket. Generally speaking. Meaning, chances are there is a cog loose someplace but the person might not know it.... interest in children, animals, poop, corpses, fish, Yaks, the number 23, who knows! Most cases require outside intervention of freinds or family to deal with, as well as psychological reprogramming.

Hmm....I think Ill weigh in as well. You know what it all comes down to? Responsibility. Nobody wants to be responsible for themselves anymore. Theres always a condition, a disease, a drug, a crutch, a substitute to blame for the woes of the world rather than the individuals in it. This has been happening slowly for decades and has sped up dramatically in the last 40 or so years.
Little Johnny got hooked on crack? It musta been his abusive parents.
Little Suzy robbed a bank? It musta been her impoverished childhood.
Little Tommy shot up the neighborhood? Musta been ADHD.
Theres always some reason besides personal responsibility. Dont like your looks? Change em. Dont like your sex? Change it. Dont like your species? Get cat surgery. Dont like the fact you grew up poor? Rob a bank and blame the man. Your coffee burned your lap? Sue the fast food chain.
