hi
just checking in to see what kind of mp3 players and raido`s are you useing and do you like it.or what you do not like about it. so when i get another one i have some ideas
i curently have a dell mp3 player but the buttons are hard to use with gloves. and the raido does not come in worth a crap.
thanks for your input

I have a IPOD nano that works great for me. 2 megs of songs so i've got plenty of music to listen to. I put it in the clear pouch on top of my tank bag and have no problems using it with gloves on. I dont have the fm transmitter for it though so i cant speak about the radio part.

I have both an MP3 player and an XM radio. Combo works really nicely

JVC , can't remember what model but ....IT SUCKS !!!

After about 2 months of use , the volume buttons are " stuck " ! What a waste of 100 bucks !

I got a san disc mp3 player. Not only does it work with glove on I usually keep it in my inside pocket and can move to the next songs with no problem.

Today was the first time I rode with my Ipod. Not good!! I found myself riding to the music! I guess it depends on what sonds you listen to. LOL

If you use a tank bag all the time, go with one of the larger MPS, ie Ipod.

I do not use a tank bag all the time and I need one that is comfy under the leathers. I use a RCA Lyra.

Its very small and you can add a card for more memory.

If really depends on aht you are looking for....

(ranman @ Jul. 10 2006,20:41) does xm get local stations?
no, it doesn't...but if you are just looking for music, you can find just about anything you want plus sports, weather, traffic (major cities), etc.

I still do not have XM or sirius yet. I come close to getting one then I back off everytime. I have a 60 gig video Ipod. Haven't put any videos on it yet either. Haven't taken the time to learn how. I have a bunch of songs on though. It was cool riding yesterday with it but I was tending to go with the music TOO MUCH! Maybe classical or something mellow I don't usually listen to would help. Then I was thinking I love the sound of the Bike itself and it gets drowned out with the music. Who knows? I wwould like to get my cell phone hooked some how so I could use it sometimes while riding. I know I have searched and read alot of posts on all of this to. Time and money, or money and time? LOL

I have a 20 gig-i-pod, it is an older one but it works pretty well.

I have been thinking about digital radio, but I am just not sure yet.
