As everyone has found out the rear is a 36mm.
What I had never seen was a 24 mm Allen or Hex wrench for the front tire removal.
70 bucks at the tool store near me.
I will make a long story short and I found the appropriate sized bolt head and nut at the hardware store, welded the nut to the bolt to turn it with and I have a new tool for my little underseat tool kit.
You do not need to remove the axle nut to adjust the chain, only to remove the wheel. Am I wrong here? Still good information about the proper tool for the axle nut.
Geez maybe you do have to loosen it. I have not adjusted mine yet, need to though.
