I have not been able to get this out of my head since I read it for the first time !! It just goes to show what kind of person he is, by all these posts !! I remember always bugging him about his R-1, I love that bike, and he always answered right back.

+1 to that. I read this thread last night at about 12:00. It took me forever to fall asleep and when I woke up it was the first thing I thought about. I really hope I can find some time between class and all my tests and quizzes to go see him. I'm about an hour and a half away.

This is a duplicate post from the other thread, I wanted to keep both updated...

I just spoke with his brother-in-law Andy, he said with my permission that Kevin is about the same, however they are waiting to hear the results from a test that was run.

The results will determine when he will be able to go home, his family is hoping for Thursday is what his brother-in-law told me...

Please keep praying, that God move on behalf of all involved.

Since they are waiting on another test before he can go home, maybe the docs have hope this test comes back in his favor and that is why they r keeping him. Maybe some hope. We don't generally keep someone ( I am in Medicine ) from going home unless there is a very good reason, especially if they only have days left - so I hope there is hope!

he must be a wonderful person, because i never met him and i read this a couple days ago and its all ive thought about since then prayers are still therelease:

i was at MR today and they told me how bad he was
was going to see him but had to work so a friend went to see him at lunch
they said its not good 2 days to 2 weeks is what he is looking at

The family is praying that they release him soon.

I went by tonight after work and was able to chat with Kevin a little.

I asked if there was anything he wanted me to relay to the board here.

He said no, then he told me. "Tell them I'm sorry I won't be there next week."

Guys and girls, if your able, try & see him soon.

His family is very strong through all this. I believe it's for a lot of reasons but I know for a fact it's because Kevin is at peace with what is to come. And his strength and courage at the face of death is something I pray I'll be able to have in me when my time comes to meet my Lord.
