These are all awesome ideas....HOWEVER....we lost 3 org members last year. Shouldn't we include all of them? Not everyone knew Mike, but not everyone knew Don or Kevin either....just sayin'. Just my two cents.
You are absolutely right! Thanks.

I will do my best to convey my opinion to everyone without screwing this up. So let me ask for your patience before you read any further. Knowing that there could be some misunderstandings right up front is the best way to deal with this I think.
We have seen several of our members pass away over the past 12 months, this passing has of course left many of us with wounded hearts. Time heals all wounds, we have been very fortunate in that while we did lose 3 great folks it was only 3 and not more. We have chosen a sport that could have easily taken more lives over the past 12 months, its just inherent with speed and crashes. Not to minimize the losses at all but we have been very fortunate with a base as large as we have.
Last year we had the shirts and ride for Kevin, the video of Mike on Sat night that Dave, Angela and John put together and we have all ridden a little at the end of the summer for Don. I was close to Kevin and Don, I miss their emails, phone calls and seeing them at the events...
However... Bear with me on this part...
Don and Kevin would be upset I know if we turned the bash into a memorial tour every year. I think we owe it to them to ride, laugh, joke and take lots and lots of pictures. Kevin had the greatest attitude and love for life even in his last days, Don lived every day just like I aspire to, smiling and spending as much time with friends and family, no regrets... Mike was involved in more things than I can list, he rode all the time. I think that to honor those folks best is to move on and build friendships, ride, tell stories, take pictures and help others just like they did. We absolutely will never forget these men, how could we but I think that we have to move on and not try to memoralize theirs deaths at every event........
The bash is not decided or organized by H.org but by the members. EVERYONE contributes to making it a success, in the past I have offered to make shirts because having something to remember the event was good to have.
I wanted to let everyone know that I was not going to make any shirts with any of the fallen members this year, I think we need to move on and celebrate life at the same time remembering those that lived and contributed so much to each of us.
Should we take time at the firepit and raise our glasses for our friends, absolutely! I don't think that any of our fallen members would want to be forgotten but they certainly wouldn't want us walking around living in the past.....
This is my opinion only, nothing more.... I hope I have not offended anyone, I hope that if you don't understand you will reread my message again if you still have questions or concerns you can contact me or ask me to contact you....
Let's go live and have a great year....

You are both correct with very encouraging words! It's a rock-and-a-hard-place, Doug, for sure, and I agree that the three guys you mentioned would encourage everyone to live, love, laugh...and further that everyone do the most we can for each other and all those we come in contact with through the course of all our given days.
Indeed...all we have that they no longer do...are 'days.'
Make the most of the gatherings...remember your friends, make new ones.
Life is very short.

You think you could put the " Busa Bash" on the top over all the Hayabusa logos and then 2010 underneath. All that just kinda looks too busy for me, just too much going on. I know I am fragile!!!!

Like that design! It should also help keep costs down since there's not tons of detail.Let me throw this out there as an idea.. I got the message and know that we will have GEN I and GEN II members at the bash. When you start adding lots of colors the price jumps drastically. Take a look at this shirt design and tell me what you think... It's simple but gets the point across that we are at the bash and represents all the years bikes.... Put something on the front left breast a kanji and maybe the date or something like that, give me your thoughts...
