Battery Leak on new Busa

Battery leaked out of the top on my new Busa and acid went on the frame in various spots, chain, swing arm, exhaust pipe and a few screws causing corrosion--got rid of the duc because of shoddy build quality! Am taking it in tomorrow the S/Mgr suspects that the charging system is at fault---we shall see.

This really sucks---great riding weekend and I will have to settle for the FLSTF. I wanted to ride fast and rip up asphalt DAMN!!

Has anyone had this happen? Hope it was just a bad battery.

check to search feature some batteries did it I believe from improper charging at set up. call your dealer and let them know and find out what they are going to do about it.
of course I am assuming this is a brand new bike with less than 200 miles on it.

My battery leaked too same results ,they are going to replace everything that was damaged.
It was not the charging system but the battery. You can have the parts replaced an ytime in the one year warr. period

sooner the better man I hate battery acid.
Did you know that in 1968 when Honda was first testing the CB750 it kept breaking chains most just said it was too much power(back then it was a lot) buit it was the battery vent tube was right above the drive chain and the acid made it snap.there solution was route the vent tube to the other side
