Battery Leaking

Picked it up yesterday (Saturday). Everything is fine, can't tell there was ever a problem.

Dealer says parts on order..... Guess we will see how long this takes.

They didn't think it was funny when I suggested removing what I needed from the 05 LE on their showroom floor..:)
That's what I told them when I was missing a bolt in my fairing

They told me I couldn't... I had bought the bike THE DAY BEFORE!!! I got pretty pissed off, but then I talked to some guy from the parts and asked him nicely if by any chance they had another spare bolt in the back or something... he found one and just gave it to me

. Nice of him... but still pissed of at the stealership.. that's no way to treat someone who just payed them $10,500 the day before!

FYI, it is a lack of dealer prep. My leaked and shitted up the swing arm, shock, rear wheel, chain, and belly pan. All were replaced under warranty.
So you guys dont have sealed/maintance free batterys? FYI a sealed battery cannot leak...the set-up guy could be retarded...there is simply nothing to fusck up.

sealed batteries will leak if not serviced correctly from the start. FYI you are retarted for thinking that they could not leak.
If you don't think so, go buy one add, the acid pack ,cap it and throw it on a 12volt 6-10 amp charger and watch what happens.

they are sealed but they can be opened. Even if it was a sealed unit that you couldn't open presure is a ##### in a confined space

here it is the Cheese man is way correct on this one but he dosent need me to tell him that the procedure for filling the maintenence free batteries is after filled the must be left open for 1 hour min so they can vent and all the fluid be absorbed if this isnt done they will leak i promise. Suzukis answer will be it wasent serviced correctly so the dealer has to eat it trust me there is atleast 3 service bullitins reguarding this

Yep, improper setup on mine. But not from the dealer I bought it from. Since I had wanted the Red/Black they had to go find one. The one they brought back had been setup for delivery by the other dealer. The deal fell through on that sell, so it was traded to my dealer and brought to me. The guy who delivered it to me had made the comment it was the easiest setup he had done in awhile since all he had done was check it over and fill it with gas. There was no way they could tell the battery had been fubarbed......

So you call me a retard ? I actually repeated exactly what the Interstate dealer in my area told me...no need for name calling you #######.

So ####### says they need to be charged.

And Whzrd says they need to vent..before the cap is put on you mean? So are you saying a sealed battery will leak every time if this is not done? Are you sure its not just an added step for an added measure of prevention or something like that?

Tell me step my step on how to make a sealed battery leak (overcharging it with a battery charger not included!).

fill it cap it charge it without letting it absorb the electrolyte and venting the gases when i get to work mon ill get the service and parts bullitins that Suzuki sent out reguarding this

Happened to me on my busa the day I left the show room. It was not suzuki warranty. They made the dealer eat it for improperly sealing the battery at prep. Chain, swing arm, bolts that hold chain guard, left foot peg and battery were all changed via the dealer. The dealer did try to get out of it till I called suzuki. Friggin arm cost 1000 bucks. Then to top it of I get the bike back and the swing arm was left loose. The nut was hand tight. dealers suck.
