You gota be close man. Check the terminals, if they're corroded, clean'em, tighten'em and get ready to buy one. For the cost I would probably go ahead and stead of getting stuck 100 miles from home one day. Did you buy it new?

I've been pretty sick the last ten days, missed maybe seven days riding, fired right up. Haven't missed seven days since I bought it until this.

No, didnt buy the bike new..The terminals are extra clean...But I do know that the original owner kept it in a heated garage hooked up to a tender..I do the same thing now. It charges and holds a charge very well...but I know that its days are numbered.

my stock battery lasted 4 years. would have lasted more but there was a period of time i didnt ride my bike for almost a year. i took the battery out and winterized the bike. when it came time to ride again the battery was caput

My stock battery didn't even make a month! And then the stealership screwed me and charged me for the new one!

The reason I ask is that the battery may have been installed just before you bought it. On some batteries you can find a date. You might have a fairly new battery. Check it out.

Sorry about that. Sounds like warranty work to me, unless the bike was used or something. Bad break. I can get a car battery all day long for $26, I'll bet the smaller less materials used Busa battery is on up there. Purdy Bike Dude.

Hmmmmm....Good Call...gonna have to check it out

I change mine every two years no matter how much or little I have ridden. I had a battery go down on me years ago. It had always started the bike OK, everytime, then NOTHING

. And I wasn't near anything or city at 1 AM in No Ware USA. Decided then that the price for a battery was just too inexpensive VS the price of worrying by not keeping a New One in the Bike

1st battery died in under a year
the 2nd went dead in under 6 months, at the first cold snap. its on a charger now, im hoping it'll comr back.
oh this is my 2nd busa, the other batt lasted a year too

I've had my bike for a year and half... this winter seems to be taking its toll on my battery. I've bought a tender and use it daily but i've noticed if i dont use it after about 48 hours the battery loses some of its cranking power. If i go 3 days the bike barely turns over. I'm gonna keep it hopefully through the winter but if not go to a bigger battery.

I bought my '02 in May of '03.......I'm looking for a battery as I write this. I was going to replace it last year but decided to wait a bit longer. She's dead!

I left the battery tender on my bike for about 48 hours and havent had it on in the last 48 hours and my bike is like it was brand new. I guess the battery tender is doing it job. I must not have let it charge enough the last few times i've used it.

i squeezed 4 years out of my stock yuasa and kept it in doors for the winter charged.
