I just took mine off when I was taking the fairing off to touch up some scratches and I actually think the bike looks better like that...anyone else share this opinion?

mine is off. It is however due to the fact that I installed a center stand. never looked back.

KEEP IT ON! Would you pull the wing off of a new plane?

I don't think so. The wing is capable of keeping your bike firmly planted to the road while riding inverted at 100mph!

I don't know if it changes stability but I've seen posts that say the wing is worth an ET reduction in the 1/4 mile compared to racin' without it. I figure if it changes the wind flow enough to get quicker 1/4 mile times it might also create a little instability compared to ridin' with it on. Just my $.02 though. I have no way of backin' it up.

Bottom wing is off and it did not stop me from doing 200+mph.

Yeah, but if you had the wing on, you could have deflected a major amount of air from hitting your rear tire at subsonic speeds.  Proven to be worth a few mph more.  Ask any of the salt guys or ask me, I'll tell ya.

BUT...for mere looks, the bike looks longer and leaner without the wing.  I just happen to be partial of the .

If you take your wing off you will not have lift off power when you hit your take off speed. So if you want to fly, Wing on!
