BEST EXHAUST

That is fine by me, saves a few extra $$! But please anyone educate me a little on this. So is the Full R77 the only system that does not require a PC? If so, why? Thanks.

None of them NEED it, some just run better than others untuned. More open exhausts with little backpressure will run worse. The engine isn't going to lean out enough to do any damage. And it may run very rich, which will cause poor performance.
The R77 (like many similiar designed systems) just so happens to have a good balance to it, as far as untuned performance goes. Put it on, ride it, see what you think. Add the PC, then see. Generic PC maps will get you close, and will improve things, but again a good dyno tune is the only way to get it "just right".

They recommend mapping with a full system. It will make the system run much richer If you dont on most bikes. But every bike is different; thats another reason to custom tune. I dont care for the powercommander maps ;they are a starting point for some, but alot of maps that have been created , the PC map was scrapped. But I have personnaly seen a yosh RS3 full system run better on the factory ECU with the PC on the 0 map. Theres alot of crapping out and backfireing when its too lean. and some or PC's maps have some serious negative numbers. numerous maps that Have been used from Pc has had alot of bad reviews/complaints. But You can custom tune it with a starting map. On several maps Ive gone thru,The bikes being tuned react differently with the same map athough the problem generally was in the three key areas to tweak. The RS3 sytem on one reacts really well on the 0 map although it is a little rich, but not bad at all with no bacfire and more power than the 012 map meant for it

Yeah, I've seen the recommended map run worse than maps for other exhaust. Too many variables, and as said, every bike is different.
Personally, I'de run the R77 with the stock ecu and see how you like it. Worse case, you don't and you buy the PC, or, ECU Editor, cheaper and better.

b) performance (ie horse power)
c) looks

I have the Yosh R-55. I am very much into the "amputated limb" look.

It's a Full System.

You just need to hear it at about 7-10,000 RPM's. Really sweet!

Then to have it tuned with a Power Commander.....now your talking!

heard good things from the Brocks set up good numbers like 188- 192 at the rear wheel and 35pounds off the weight of the bike for what I believe is a good price

I'm going the Brocks route but, just waiting till I can find a good deal on the exhaust and also the pc.
