What's the best ramp you guys have for loading your street bikes in the back of a pickup? How much and where did you get it? Weight?

I just bought a "ramp kit" and bought a 2x10(gonna go wider so I can use my feet!) and then get some of that "grity" tape, not sure on the actual name, and put that on the ramp and if you want on the bed of your truck, sliding is a REAL bad problem if you dont...

It all depends on what you want to pay,I myself use 2x12 and a ramp kit from home depot with grip tape..cost about $40 bucks .You can co to a riding lawm mower dealer(John deer,Snapper,Toro) and get some nice folding alloy ones but the run around $250-450.

Hey guys I bought a nice ramp at Sams Club for around 50 bucks...aluminum ,folds in half and looks great...made by better built...they make tool boxes for trucks.

kawabuser I load a cbx with them and if you noticed they also have the hump in the middle for better loading...they seem to work great. I`d say a cbx is 100lbs. heavier than a busa.

I have one like Cisco's and Factory's. It's slightly rounded in the middle and has a steel cable and hook to keep it from falling off the truck. Paid $85 for it. Worked OK on lighter bikes. Haven't loaded a Busa yet That will happen real soon now. Got mine at Trans Am in Lititz PA.

Factory if the ramp you're describing has looks like a ladder with plastic or rubber type tabs on the ends to protect the tail gate I have one of those ramps. It was a little expensive but I wanted something that I could load my two lowered Harleys into my wifes truck and was strong.I also use the ramp when doing house painting, just stick the ramp between two fold up horse units and you're good to go.The ramp comes with a cable that you attach to the truck bumper to keep it from sliding back or coming off the truck tailgate,I got rid of the cable and use a tie-down strap with a adjustable belt ratchet unit to keep the ramp snug to the tailgate.Hope this information helps you or the other members on the board.Sorry for any spelling.

I had actually seen the aluminum "single" ramp that curves upward in the middle to keep the bike from bottoming out while loading. I saw one for $200 bucks at a local shop, but thought that was outragous. I didn't get the brand? Anyone familiar with this ramp?

Factory the ramp you want is called OXLITE and here's the address and info for the company: 1003 Old Henderson Rd,

I hope this helps you I paid $89.00 out the door here in Northern Ca.Tucker Rocky Nemco is the disturbutor of the ramp and I'm sure you can find it local in your area or maybe order direct from the company.Good Luck

Lyle and Cisco - Yes, that's exactly the one I am looking for. Do either of you have a name brand, company or other contact info? $85 seems to be a very good price.

Sounds like mine and Cisco's are the same. Mine has a Tucker Rockey sticker on it.

I've continued to check into this ramp thing. I've also found a ramp made by "Ramp-Lite Manufacturing". Looks very similar - not sure of the differences, I'll keep "y'all" posted.

Make yor own... I made mine ot of wood, it works just fine, and it didn't cost much... I'm glad I made my own, because no I bought a trailer with a ramp/gate, now I don't need the wooden one, and I didn't waste my cash.
