Best setup

Hi guys I’m after some advice on the best setup for a 2004 Hayabusa. The bike is used mainly for road riding with a trip to the drags weekly at street meets & bracket racing.
Currenly the bike has small airbox mod with pair valve removed and HMF high mount dual system. I am after the best quality- most reliable system available that will run 60-80 shot initially and maybe later up it to 100.

Based on advice I have received locally we have come up with the following system-

- NX Wet kit for Hayabusa #NX60007 with hump mount
- NX window switch #TPRS-001
- Schnitz 5 dial progressive controller # PNC-101 with Hayabusa wiring harness
- Schnitz Ignition retard unit #EFIR-13-02
- NOS Purge Kit #16030-NOS
- Bottle warmer
- Liquid filled NOS and fuel pressure gauges.

I intend running the system off the throttle with no button. And would want to ramp in at about 5000rpm in each gear.

Also I want to run an schnitz ignition kill box #1-0263 (not shifter) so I can flat foot change. Will the ignition kill work with the above system, will the NOS need to be shut off prior to the ignition kill?

Is this the best system available?

I am a complete novice when it comes to NOS and am relying on good advice to get the best possible system so any input and advice would be greatly appreciated.

a wet kits fine id stay around 60 to 80 horse shot on a stock motor with good high octane race gas. make sure the nos is off before the ignition kill comes on. nx makes good kits so you should be fine with them. the bad part about a wet kit is you have to drill and tap into your intake ports. if you dont know what your doing you might want to find someone thats done it before and get some advice. jc

Thanks for the reply badass. The install will be done by an experienced workshop here in Sydney and will be drilled and tapped into the intake ports. What is your opinion on the setup/controlers etc. Is there a better combination available?

Thanks again
Bruce

No don,t install the foggers in the head,,, Put them in the airbox!!!! More HP

IMO you will need an extended arm to keep a 100 shot rideable. I personally would go with a dry 50 shot and a MPS fast FI box to add the fuel. You can easily get over 210 rwhp with the right setup and at a fraction of the cost.

How would putting the nozzles in the airbox make more HP? I always thought the closer to the Intake valves the nozzles were, the bigger and harder the hit would be? (Talking about a Wet shot)
