A sealed envelope - Put in the freezer for a few hours, then slide a knife under the flap. The envelope can then be sealed.

============================================
Use Empty toilet paper roll to store appliance cords. It keeps them neat and you can write on the roll what appliance it belongs to.

==============================================
For icy door steps in freezing temperatures: get warm water
and put Dawn dishwashing liquid in it. Pour it all over the steps. They won't refreeze.

==============================================
To remove old wax from a glass candle holder, put it in the
freezer for a few hours. Then take the candle holder out and
turn it upside down. The  wax will fall out.

==============================================

Crayon marks on walls? This worked wonderfully! A damp rag, dipped in baking soda. Comes off with little effort (elbow grease that is!).

==============================================
Permanent marker on appliances/counter tops (like store
receipt BLUE!) rubbing alcohol on paper towel.

==============================================
Whenever I purchase a box of S..O.S Pads, I immediately
take a  pair of scissors and cut each pad into halves. After
years of having to throw away rusted and unused and smelly pads, I finally decided that this would be much more economical. And now a box of S..O.S pads last me indefinitely! In fact, I have noticed that the scissors get
sharpened this way! (Once you use the S.O.S. pad - freeze
it in a container.  When you need it again, run it under hot
water, and when you finish - back into the
freezer, until you finally have no more suds. You will never
deal with a rusty pad again)

==============================================
Blood stains on clothes? Not to worry! Just pour a little
hydrogen peroxide on a cloth and proceed to wipe off
every drop of blood.  Works every time!

==============================================
Use vertical strokes when washing windows outside and horizontal for inside indows. This way you can tell
which side has the streaks.. Straight vinegar will get outside windows really clean. Don't wash windows on a sunny day. They will dry too quickly and will probably streak.

==============================================
Spray a bit of perfume on the light bulb in any room to
create a lovely light scent in each room when the light is turned on.

==============================================
Place fabric softener sheets in dresser drawers and your
clothes will smell freshly washed for weeks to come.  You
can also do this with towels and linens.

=============================================
Candles will last a lot longer if placed in the freezer for at
least 3 hours prior to burning.

==============================================
To clean artificial flowers, pour some salt into a paper bag
and add the flowers. Shake vigorously as the salt will
absorb all the dust and dirt and leave your artificial flowers
looking like new! Works like a charm!

==============================================
To easily remove burnt on food from your skillet, simply add a drop or two of dish soap and enough water to cover bottom of pan, and bring to a boil on stovetop.

==============================================
Spray your TUPPERWARE with nonstick cooking spray before pouring in tomato based sauces and there won't be any stains.

=============================================
Wrap celery in aluminum foil when putting in the refrigerator and it will keep for weeks.

==============================================
When boiling corn on the cob, add a pinch of sugar to help
bring out the corn's natural sweetness.

==============================================
Cure for headaches: Take a lime, cut it in half and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away.

==============================================
Don't throw out all that leftover wine: Freeze into ice cubes for future use in casseroles and sauces.

==============================================
To get rid of itch from mosquito bites, try applying soap on
the area and you will experience instant relief.

==============================================
Ants, ants, ants everywhere .... Well, they are said to never
cross a chalk line. So get your chalk out and draw a line on
the floor or wherever ants tend to march. See for yourself.

==============================================
Use air-freshener to clean mirrors. It does a good job and
better still, leaves a lovely smell to the shine.

==============================================
When you get a splinter, reach for the scotch tape before
resorting to tweezers or a needle. Simply put the scotch
tape over the splinter, then pull it off. Scotch tape removes
most splinters painlessly and easily.

==============================================
Now look what you can do with Alka Seltzer.

Clean a toilet.

Drop in two Alka Seltzer tablets, wait twenty
minutes, brush and flush. The citric acid and effervescent
action clean vitreous China.

==============================================
Clean a vase.

To remove a stain from the bottom of a glass vase or cruet, fill with water and drop in two Alka Seltzer tablets.

==============================================
Polish jewelry.

Drop two Alka Seltzer tablets into a glass of
water and immerse the jewelry for two minutes.

==============================================
Clean a thermos bottle.

Fill the bottle with water, drop in four Alka Seltzer tablets,
and let soak for an hour (or longer, if necessary).

==============================================
Unclog a drain.

Clear the sink drain by dropping three Alka Seltzer tablets
down the drain followed by a cup of Heinz White vinegar.
Wait a few minutes, then run the hot water.

Hope this helps....

All that, but not one tip on shaving...........
if I included shaving, I'd have hit the 75000 limit on posts.

But ya want a tip on shaving? Cool!

Let's see...is it for top or bottom?

For the nether region...

Do the preliminary shaves WITHOUT stretching the uh...um...geographic location. It is paramount that you have a very very sharp razor. Don't shave too much, though...you gotta set up for step 2. You can do this dry or wet.

Next, you can soak. Warm water is good....not too hot, but hot enough to get the pores opened. Even better is goat's milk....works wonders. Soak yerself for a good 3-4 minutes, keeping the water (but preferably goat's milk) nice and warm. Watch that temperature, gentlemen...no need to kill the soldiers.

Then, you can lather. Cocoa butter is pretty good...or any Vitamin E and/or aloe vera rich ointment. Be sure to massage the area to get it loosened up. Get rid of the remaining stubble. You do NOT need to stretch at this point.

Rinse with hot to warm water...

Now, you can go into sniper mode. Stretch (not too much, though) and feel...wherever there's stubble, put a small dab of the cocoa butter or ointment. Very carefully, shave. Repeat until all areas are smooth.

If unsure, repeat steps 2 & 3.

Lastly, repeat step two for optimal skin care.

Be sure to have a pair of silk boxers around....don them on and you will be in heaven. Trust me.

Wanna get the black love bugs, road grime, and other bugs off the front of your vehicle?
rock.gif
Just use a couple of Bounce fabric softener sheets. Dip them in water and all the grime and bugs just wash away. I find that used sheets work better.

Frozen Grapes!

OK, a Simple <span style='color:orangered'>Food Tip</span>.  Something that I thought everyone knew.

Go out tonight and buy yourself a good bunch of <span style='color:orangered'>seedless grapes, red or white.  Wash em' up, stick em in Ziplock bags, and then drop em' in the freezer.</span> After they have frozen grab em and chow down on one of the sweetest, easiest deserts ever.

Kids think they are really getting a special treat and they do come out awesome.  The sugars in the grapes wont allow them to freeze solid, so what you really get is Grape Slush in essence and it's very good...
thumbs-up.gif
That's a good 'un Rev. But you've got to sprinkle a little bit of sugar on them before going into the freezer. Talk about DA BOMB!!!

As long as we're on a Martha Stewart kick, here's my mashed taters recipe:
Peel, cut boil and drain the spuds. Add 1 stick of butter per 4 potatoes, add heavy whipping cream to thin the consistency. Add white pepper and garlic powder according to tatse. White pepper has a different flavour than black, a little more "Peppery" if you will. Blend all ingredients in a large bowl, top with an inch of shredded cheddar and cover for about 10 min. Serve and enjoy.
I got a couple more recipies for tasty unhealthy stuff if anyone's interested........burgers, chili cheese fries, hot wings, smothered pork chops, etc.

OK, this is going to sound a little gay, but....
Spandex shorts in stead of undies when riding, or long hikes. The weave is much more fine, hence no chafing, and much cooler than cotton. That and when it's 90 degrees outside and you have just ridden through a tank of gas non stop, it doesn't get glued to your ass like regular skivies. IMHO it is acutaly worth the $15-$25 a pair. Just using them through the riding season works wonders.

YUP!!! NIKE Dri-Fit is the bomb... UnderArmor shirts and briefs rock!!!

OK here's one I noticed the other day...

FIJI Bottled water...

90% of the bottled waters out there are simply bottled tap water from wherever, if it's bottled and sold in the same state it doesn't even have to meet the same purity standards as your tap water.

BUT

Fiji Bottled water as well as S. Peligrino really surprised me, you could actually taste a difference. Give it a try if your buying bottled.

Hell most of the time I drink tap water now cuase I am outta Florida and the water is drinkable here, but FWIW....
