Best way to remove warning stickers?

When I took mine off I used a portable steamer. I just steamed the sticker off, it took maybe ten minutes and the steam took off the sticker and residue without using any chemicals. Didnt hurt the paint or finish.

what you dont want to do is use a piece of wood and brake clean on a cold day. oh, wait... add impatience. i have a nice mark on my tail where i aggressively went after the right side gsxr1300 sticker.:banghead:

at times i suffer from the "i know its wrong...but" LOL

Heat Gun & Baby Oil for the goo... (no joke, the baby oil, & the tips of your fingers work like a charm )

Air craft decal remover - Orielly auto parts. Learned the heard way trying to peal and blow dry at first (takes too long). Some of the decals come off easy others are a pain. Let the decal remover sit on for sticker for a couple minutes. Then simply whipe away. If that is not enough time, re-aply for another couple minutes and that should take care of it. This stuff is amazing. Turns sticker into mush in just a couple minutes. You can take every sticker off the bike in 10min. Just dont leave on the paint too long otherwise youll need a new paint job.

I did this about 2k miles ago to my bike and there are no effects from the decal remover on my paint so it should be safe long term.

OK you may not like my method but it worked like a charm, brace yourself! I used a sharp chisel to get under the sticker, if you're skilled the blade of the chisel will glide over the paint and remove any stubborn sticker or decal and for adhesive residue I used, brace yourself again, I used good old diesel fuel on a cloth. I know, I know sounds crazy but it worked for me, and you guys have seen my bike not a blemish in sight from the procedure. A sharp chisel, some diesel fuel, a little skill and some patients does the trick. Remember to clean the area after using the diesel fuel.

Sorry goo gone but diesel or even gasoline removes adhesive residue that's why the decals on the tank are under clear coat. Think about it
I used steel wool with no lubricant and scrubbed the hell outta the stickers, they came off eventually........

along with my paint and plastic!!!

JK
Actually all my warning stickers are still on because I could care less about them, not worth the hassle for me to remove
