Bike is awesome Cecil!
Johnny is my new hero.
I used to be my own hero,but not anymore.

I did not run Super Street this time,we just ran Supersport.

So i was standing at the 1/8th mile marker and when Johnny made a pass,the bike came up and spun,he just kept shifting then it came down into an ugly tankslap.

He throttled it back up (somehow) and when it came down again,it tank slapped and the front end washed about 3 feet on him.

His feet came off the peg,and about that time he rapped the throttle and pulled the front end back up and rolled through the lights at a 8.56.

Holy cow,most awesome riding i have seen in a long time,if not forever.

Your bike is definetly fixing to make some noise,20's is going to be easy,especially with Johnny on board.

Congrats Cecil,and when are you going to come hang out with us?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Johnny called me after that pass... said it was a bit "wild".
Johnny is a good guy.
He has my bike running better than ever.
I was hoping to be there this time but forgot about Graduation Wink... had to miss out again.
Still trying to get to the Prostar events... will make it oneday.
Thanks for the encouragement... would have been great to get that pass on video.
Nice!!! So when are you going to start running it???
Big Red jumped on the white bike!
That's Mikey Slowe on the White Busa.
THose pics are from the Atlanta Race last month.
Did Red spank that ass?
Yes.... Right up till the pint she went BOOM!
Around the 330' she started to fail... by the 660', #2 and #3 cylinders were gone.
You'll finish that but kicking next event!
I ride it at the local tracks.
Tomorrow I will be at BMP.
However, for Prostar, JT is a better fit, at least for this season.
Went to the track last night for T&T (http://www.bradentonmotorsports.com/).
After embassing myself the first three passes, (launching too soft, forgetting to hit hi-boost, hitting the turn signal vice the horn for the shifter) - a total train wreck
I went 8.934 at 163.96mph.
It is hardlay as impressive as the numbers JT has been getting on ole girl.
Basically, I am a solid .5 seconds and 10mph slower.
I'll get better.
// Begin Excuses //
This was the first time on this bike in a while.
It was in the high 80's with 100% humidity.... even got a little drizzle a few times.
I'm thinking with a little practice, I should be able to run 8.7's pretty consistantly.
My 60's were seriously hurting :?
Total Rider Error!
// End Excuses //
It reminded me of my golf game.
It's fun, but it tends to be more frustrating than anything.
However, there is always that one shot that keeps you coming back...
Capitalized on an opportunity to knock out a few passes this afternoon.
All three of them where in the 8's.
With more seat time.... the numbers will improve.
I am liking the wheels.
The ET has been steadily dropping, and the MPH is creeping up as well.
Hard to say how much, if any, the Marvics are playing a roll (get it.... roll
).
But it is likely they are in part responsible for the improved numbers.
Here's a couple of wonderful cell phone pics of the wheels from last Friday.
Right now I have toned it down a bit, its just to dam hard to ride. Right now its running in the 35psi boost range and back on gasoline, why spend all that time purging and changing oil if your not gonna boost it hard. I had an arm injury about 5 months ago thats just now starting to heal up.
Thanks for the worm welcome.:p
That thing is Sick!
Do you have any more pics?
Did you build it yourself?
Was the injury from the quad?
It was a team effort to build it, I did the motor and electronics, Fireball racing built the chassis and suspension.
Yes the arm injury was from the bike, yes I have more pics.
