Took her out for a couple of hours yesterday..it was 45 degrees when I left and 41 when I returned. Not too bad really, just dressed accordingly.
Beautiful sunny day!
Today, it is snowing! Supposed to get as much as 3 inches!

Well, at least I got to ride a little!

Unlimited Hydroplanes are the fastest boats on the planet. They are about (not sure here) 28' long.
Back in the early 60's into the late 70's they were powered by V-12 aircraft engines...Allisons, Rolls-Merlins etc...turbocharged, supercharged....big HP. That is where they got the name "Thunder Boats"
Back in that era, my dad worked on several of the boats..he was an aircraft mechanic..

In the late 70's some of the teams started using turbine engines.. Now, all but one use turbines,(out of helicopters). The blast around the circular track 2 speeds in excess of 200 mph. Very cool to watch.

and no ya smartazz...that is my helmet on the mirror:p

Great looking Busa....Just becareful with the Helmet on the Mirror! Sounds silly, but I use to put my helmet on the Mirror until I had a brain fart and forgot my helmet was on the mirror. I placed my helmet on the mirror, and turned the steering, which sent the $700.00 helmet to the ground.....wouldnt believe the battle scars from such a small fall...but it happened.
