Ok, bike rides great and all of course expect for one thing. when i am stopped at a light or a stop sign and I blip the throttle (quickly rev it up to about 2000 rpm or so and let the throttle spring back on its own) SOMETIMES the bike will shut off. I can hear like its about to turn off after i blip the throttle and sometimes it does other times it doesn't....? any ideas guys.

a few mods i did during the winter i dunno if this will help:
-power commander (just before winter ran just fine)
-speedohealer v4

-and oh yea, when i took it out for the first time my horn didn't work and after riding it a while now it does??? could my battery be bad because in the dark when i rev the engine i can see my headlight become brighter.

thanks!:beerchug:

Check the battery and charging system. Be sure your RPMS are around 1100 and be sure your TPS is set properly through your power commander OPEN/CLOSED. Also check your TPS via the service window. Just some thoughts not all of them.

the best way to check my rpms is by using the power commander software correct? What is TPS and what is the best setting for it? sorry for asking so much but help would be greatly appreciated lol:) thanks!

TPS - Throttle Position Sensor. Do you have a service manual? If not, you can download it from the do-it-yourself section.

just took the bike out again, didn't turn off this time. but i did notice my idle is a little rough and just below the 1000rpms mark, how can i fix this?

I was gonig to say that happend to me, so since then I have invested in the adjustable knob thinggy and bracket ( external)
