Biketoberfest

....and 7am should be fine~ Maybe give us to 7:30 or so in case we get caught behind some~ We won't keep ya'll waitig for too long~ Just PM myself or Diesel your cell number.. assuming you'll have one with ya.. and we'll call if it looks like we will be running behind for some reason or another~ I'd rather get an early start myself~

He he.... Just watch out for trains Bro...
ices_rofl.gif

Seriously folks, have a good time, I doubt I will change my mind, but if I do I will contact Joker and snag him and TKM on their way outta town.

Diesel, all the reasons you mentioned are why I wouldn't go though. 10,000 riders and 36 helmets
smile.gif
Funny stuff. But yeah, every year there is just a little too much drama out of each bike rally... No thanks, I'd rather burn in out in the twisties one day than get rear ended by a fuggin Orthodontist on a BOSS HOSS Piece of Sh!t.
smile.gif

We'll see, I would like to go for the ride and meet and greet... I just dunno what I would do once there, I suppose I could hang a right on 95 and go see the Inlaws...

Them trains ain't gonna touch me when I'm on the Busa! It's just when drivin the Exploder that I get worried..
biggrin.gif

If you want, Rev, I'd be down for that~ Well, maybe not so much as visiting your in-laws, but I don't deal well with crowds myself~ Especially ones with drunken fools mixed in~ I'm pretty much going just for the ride and to meet the locals that don't make it out for the Sunday rides~ I like the looks of the route that Kevin has mapped out... should be a nice ride~
So if you think you might like to ride on out there.. TKM and I will be happy to ride on back with ya~ I may want to take some time to look up some of the TTJ peeps that will be hanging around there too.. but I'm sure I won't wanna stick around there for too long~ I'm thinkin it should be pretty thinned out by this weekend too~ Most of the outta towners should be headed back home.. beings it is the final days of the event~

We'll see man, I don't know what I am going to feel like doing... How about I will confirm or deny on Thursday. It will also kind of depend on what the BAC want's to do. She might already have something in the works. I'll get back to ya...

Just got back from Daytona, Wish I could ride with you all. But Ill be a permenant resident up there come the 29th of this month. Went to main street on saturday night, saw some busa's already there. Keep me in mind for the grand even of bike week.
biggrin.gif
My doors always open to riders from out of town who need a place to crash.

Okay guys, I just happened to be in New Port Richey today. I drove home by way of the route I gave you. I left was at Little Rd and 52 at 4:35, and at the Circle K in Lakeland at 5:35. I even wrote down the names of the roads I didn't know. From I-75 to CR579 (the stoplight) is 5 miles, turn right then take an immediate left on alt 52, it's 4 miles to 301, right then immediate left on 98 and it's 20 miles to the circle K.
biggrin.gif

Sweet... thanks Kevin! You was damn near in my back yard~ I'm just a couple blocks off Little and 52~ Wish I woulda know you was in the hood... you coulda stopped by~
By the above timing.. if we meet at the Flying J and head out from there at by 6:15am we'll make the Circle K by 7:00a for sure~ So what do ya think Diesel.. Flying J at 6am? If you like you can just meet at my place in the morning.. or at the Circle K on Little and Fox Hollow, across from the (fairly) new Publix Shoping Center~ Let me know what ya think...

Flying J at 6 sounds good. I'm pretty familiar with Kevin's route, should be a good ride...Revlis, just bring some spray on deoderant for any rowdy bikers out there, it's like f-ing kryptonite to those Harley guys!

Yesterday I rode from here to Groveland just to make sure the first part ofo our route is passable, it was under water after the three hurricanes but is clear now. It's about a 10 mile stretch through the swamp, curvy and covered with trees. There is even a wooden bridge we have to cross. The road is not real good for high speed or anything but it's still a cool ride.

Just a heads-up...right now the crowd is kinda thin.....Havn't seen too many bikes on the road outside of the norm.  This weekend is the main event weekend, so I'm expecting quite a surge in the crowd Tuesday night into Wednesday. Crowds will start filtering out Saturday night-Sunday morning.

Some of the major trucks just pulled into the track last night, Honda is the only group setting up right now, getting ready for the demo rides.

Lunch is 50% firm for the Ocean Deck, just have to work on getting the parking area reserved for us.  Shouldn't be that hard.  Lunchtime will be 11:00 am (you guys should be hungry after the ride).  Sorry if it's early, but it will help with the parking.  Just a heads-up, I may give you directions straight to "The Deck," depending on what I work out for the parking or if I will need to stand guard.

Later,

Jay

Too cool, ride strait to the beach for some lunch. We'll plan on taking lots of pictures for those up north having to put their bikes away for winter. Not to rub it in, but to get them wanting to come down for bike week. Let'see if we can start making bike week for all motorcyclists, not just cruisers.
