My week off doesn't start until the 5th. Funny how the guys are planning the ride on the first Sunday of bikeweek when it's usually the last. Figured they would get a better turn out, I guess. Oh well, most of my time is spent working at the track, flagging the corners. So, I will definately be at the race on Saturday.

Later,

It ALWAYS rains at least one day for Bike week. Not necessarily a gulley washer, but it WILL rain. Typically just enough to make the bike look disgustingly dirty and unkept.
It will also drop 15 degrees the day you decide to leave the heavy jacket behind. The day you wear it anticipating the cold, it will stay light jacket weather. Just the way it is. Driven home many a night with "the Boys" mid gut looking for warmth!

Side note ... PLEASE keep yourselves under control. Over a dozen people die in Daytona annualy showboating or haulin' @55 in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's typically the 1/2 drunk H-D Riders too tough to wear a helmet that fall victim to their own stupidity but the sport bikes tend to kill themselves with a deadly coctail of speed and stupidity. I really don't wanna read a fallen brother thread. You CAN ride safe and have fun.
