Bikini's are not evil!

My take is this...

I always try to put myself in other peoples shoes... when I do something I usually (not always, but usually) try to examine how I would feel if I were in someone elses shoes..

So my spin on this, is while I enjoy the female form in most all of its forms, I enjoy the female form ONLY.. got no desire to look at guys in scantly clothes.

So I think to myself, how would I feel if I belonged to a board comprised mainly of women, and it took a lot to gain the respect of the ladies.. it is not something given, I have to earn it..

And it really doesn’t seem like most of the ladies are interested in anything I say, just what I look like.

And then on top of it, it seems as though I am always having to weed through threads that contain pictures of hairy a$$ guys that make me want to gouge my eyes out!!

I would not feel welcome in that kind of environment, and eventually I would probably stop hanging around..

guess what guys? that has happened here numerous times. We have had some really awesome female members that just stopped posting and hanging around because they didn’t feel welcome, or respected. and in my book, that just aint cool.

No one on this board, male, female, black, white, brown, purple etc should ever feel not welcome, or feel like a minority.

But every time they are subjected to avatars of bouncing boobs try to imagine how you would feel if you saw an avatar with some guys package bouncing and it was twice your size.

How would you like to see pictures of big hairy guys in speedos?

So for me, the bottom line on this issue is not so much trying to keep this site G-rated as it is trying to show respect for fellow members our FEMALE members

And there is no argument, nor any justification as to why it is ok to post lots of pics of scantly dressed females, because the bottom line is most of the ladies tolerate it because they know guys are wired this way but they don’t like it and we should respect the fact they don’t like it and treat THEM with the respect they deserve as fellow board members.

That’s my opinion for what it is worth

Ditto...

The only way to solve this is to not allow it OR create a section here where anything goes and users must agree to terms and conditions to post there. But that's probably too much trouble and not needed. It's just best that we keep this a clean Busa forum...
We tried a "smackshack" - a little while ago, and to some people it went way over the top - some people liked it that way. Bottom line, because of how the smack kept bleeding over to the regular board, it went away.

Big D - I am sorry that I can't give a simple yay or nay.

The problem is the varience of values that VaBs talks about. The people who post the bikini pics don't consider it porn... if they did, they wouldn't post it. So there is logic to the individual values - personally, I like looking at bike pics - and don't mind the occasional bikini wash or hooter's pic. What I do mind, is dealing with my wife when she sees the pics and how they very often progressively degenerate. I don't know why it is better to look at a woman in a bikini than it is to look at a woman who is pulling her shorts open to expose her Vicky's secret thong - but it is.

My thoughts are - if you post a pic that you would have no fear of showing another adult, including your wife (or husband) then by all means do it. However, if ANYONE objects, then take it down... no questions, no big commentary on the stiffling of American creativity - just take it down.

The problem with seeing a majority in this case is: what is the desired outcome? There will never be a definative list of what is acceptable and what isn't - when y ou dicide to post something, you have to consider not only your own values, but the values of the board. If you think wrong and are called on it, then fix it.

Sorry, just my .02

Respect fellow female members.

Worksafe environment.

Less useless threads on a board with a lot of great Hayabusa info.

The rules are clearly spelled out when a newbie registers.

How many more reasons do you need??

I think the Mods have shown TREMENDOUS patience in dealing with this subject.

ok someone please post the pic of rub in the bikini

But that being said, i value all the other info i get from this board, so i am more than willing to check out hotties elsewhere.

So...this is "Motorcycle related topics"

What do us motorcycle people like to do?
-go to Hooters bike night
-go to bikini bike washes
-go to Daytona,etc.... more girls!

but we can't post pics?

I can see if you want to delete obscene or nasty pics, but come on! I live in Fl and see girls in bikini's all over (God bless America!)
I just don't see the big deal. Am I the only one on the board who feels like this? Just wondering.

If that's the way the majority wants it, fine....I just was wondering if that was really the case or if it was a "select" few telling us all what's up.

What's your opinion? I don't need a 2 page post of clever things you spent an hour posting....just yea or nay.
One more thought, "The Select FEW" as you put will continue to tell YOU what's up cause it's what they are supposed to do, it what Doug wants.

Doesn't matter what the majority wants, not in this case.

Real Tired of hearing you cry about it. It's been a couple of years get over it, seriously...

Seriously! Go to GOOGLE, Type in Breasts! Knock yourself out!!!!! Fuggin 40,300,000 Hits!

Should keep you all busy.

I love that guy...

See, a perfect example of what it would turn into if this type of behavior is allowed...
Perhaps the person who posted this disgraceful bikini pic should be groundedfor a day or so...

Well, as I've said in the past, it's never been that gals in bikinis is all that horrible, it's just the guys that take it one step further, then another step beyond, then over the cliff...it's a shame that the actions of a few mess it up for everyone...

I kind of thought everyone finds that pic from Andy as funny and just plain fun, but hey, if it's truly offensive to you, I will take it down...

It's offensive to my vision, my hearing has no problems w/ it whatsoever.

Leave it up, it reminds me why I went to college.

No problem, I managed to keep my lunch down after turning away for a few moments...
It was touch and go though for a minute...
