My take is this...
I always try to put myself in other peoples shoes... when I do something I usually (not always, but usually) try to examine how I would feel if I were in someone elses shoes..
So my spin on this, is while I enjoy the female form in most all of its forms, I enjoy the female form ONLY.. got no desire to look at guys in scantly clothes.
So I think to myself, how would I feel if I belonged to a board comprised mainly of women, and it took a lot to gain the respect of the ladies.. it is not something given, I have to earn it..
And it really doesn’t seem like most of the ladies are interested in anything I say, just what I look like.
And then on top of it, it seems as though I am always having to weed through threads that contain pictures of hairy a$$ guys that make me want to gouge my eyes out!!
I would not feel welcome in that kind of environment, and eventually I would probably stop hanging around..
guess what guys? that has happened here numerous times. We have had some really awesome female members that just stopped posting and hanging around because they didn’t feel welcome, or respected. and in my book, that just aint cool.
No one on this board, male, female, black, white, brown, purple etc should ever feel not welcome, or feel like a minority.
But every time they are subjected to avatars of bouncing boobs try to imagine how you would feel if you saw an avatar with some guys package bouncing and it was twice your size.
How would you like to see pictures of big hairy guys in speedos?
So for me, the bottom line on this issue is not so much trying to keep this site G-rated as it is trying to show respect for fellow members our FEMALE members
And there is no argument, nor any justification as to why it is ok to post lots of pics of scantly dressed females, because the bottom line is most of the ladies tolerate it because they know guys are wired this way but they don’t like it and we should respect the fact they don’t like it and treat THEM with the respect they deserve as fellow board members.
That’s my opinion for what it is worth
