saddam (or sadum as Pres George H W Buch called em`) was a captured and tried, while bin laden was not to be taken alive and was killed in a firefight by a US solider. So you should not expect the same to happen with osama.
secondly, I think it was wise what the military leaders did. Burial at sea prevents a gravesite for his followers to worship (as blondeonbusa pointed out before).
If you or anyone is sceptial, that is understandable. I think the CIA did a great job regarding intel. I'm confident he is dead and images and so forth will surface at some point in the future. Thanks for reading my friends....

I agree! Its funny, I have been a die hard republican for almost 20 years and would have NEVER fathomed voting for a democrat. I did not like Clinton at all and thought his infidelity was a discrace to the U.S. but he was still MY President. I voted for Bush, twice and he definitely had some rough spots which I can freely admit, but he was still MY President. I hated McCain and couldnt bring myself to vote for a Democrat in the last election. Looking forward to 2012, all these tea party crazies and these coward racist (in person and on the internet) that are scared to tell the REAL reason they hate Obama so much, are going to force me to the left for the first time in my life. I don't get why people are so scared to call it what it is ???

Interesting that you blame Clinton for the mess with homes. McCain wanted to do the same thing with health insurance. I was a bit young to remember fully all of Clinton's wrong doings so I can't comment much on that.
I think also that Bush was the first person to print more money - a flaw that is exhibited in both parties.

When people on this board slam Obama for stuff and then can't tell you why - I look at it as simple hate speech and I don't like it. If we can't agree on the cause and effect - then how are we going to fix it? Lets be open minded and actually attempt to discover the problem, rather than shut down and resort to name calling (not something you personally have done).

In fact I am a naturalized citizen of the United States. A proud American, I don't refer to myself as a Philippine American either. I am simply American and thank God for it. I don't hate President Obama. I don't like a few of his policies, so what, I will get over it. I didn't like everything Bush did either and I got over that. Just wanted to add some perspective, that MY other President, President Bush didn't make everything bad that is bad today, that is all. As far as a helping hand from Bush, he inacted a policy that enabled all the various intelligence agencies to share and disseminate intel and report to one ultimate Intel boss. This was key in our great day today as well as the turnover given from President Bush to President Obama.
Seriously, I don't seek to argue with you or anyone, we have differing views and we CAN coexist and wasn't that one of the foundations our great Nation was built upon?

Even if that was what actually happened, you still would not have a point.
But that's not what happens. - What I see on this site is a lot of conservatives who don't like Obama's policies/Administration, say exactly why they don't like him/them, then a handful of liberals start crying about it and throwing The Race Card around. (Liberals don't realise that calling people "racist" is only effective on the weak and spineless, i.e. other liberals.)

By your own admission, you are too young to remember what Clinton got up to. Let me tell you this: from an outsider's perspective, what we saw was a man who was only interested in what he could get for himself. Not what he could do for his country. Clinton's almost total lack of action on the unbelievable number of Islamic terrorist attacks against U.S. targets is what led directly to 9/11. Clinton (and his Democrat-majority House) also pushed for the legislation that led to the housing bubble. John McCain actually voiced his concerns at the time and even predicted what would happen, and he was right! Ann Coulter wrote a really good article about that. Thing is, we have become so conditioned to be skeptical of our govt it will be difficult to believe any 'proof' they give us. Nobody has commented yet on the fact they are saying he was shot in the head/face. This may make a picture ID difficult if not impossible so they go to DNA which the news orgs are now saying it has been confirmed it was him. Well ok they say it was him. Convenient they threw his body into the sea so nobody else could confirm these statements isn't it? And it is strange how all the sudden we care about Islamic tradition and 'treated his body accordingly'? Cover him in bacon grease and hang him from the lightpole in front of the White House is what should have happened!
If it was in fact him I give Obama the highest pat on the back I could. He was the acting chief who said 'I don't care about the Pakis go get him'.
I give highest honors to those who've given all continuing the fight, highest honors to those still fighting and most high accolades on the ones who actually performed the mission.
What a jubilant conversation it must have been in the helo on the ride back to base eh? I imagine a few high fives and chest bumps occurred as they looked at that MFer's body laying on the floor.

Again with your arrogant comments. I do believe I responded in another post to you that you will NOT find me defending Clinton as I agree he was a tool of a president that gets held to high esteem because he coasted on a time of great US economic prosperity. However, you cannot possibly blame 9/11 on Clinton. I agree he did nothing when we were attacked multiple times, which was a show of his true character as president. 9/11 would have probably happened regardless, the same way a man on the do not fly list is still able to get on a plane AFTER 9/11. Clinton was not the cause of terrorist attacks during the 90's, do you have any knowledge of American dealings in the Middle East over the last 60 years? We helped to create our own monster.
Bush on the other hand, leading us into war with Iraq on such little to no proof, as well as the amount of ties that man and his cabinet has in oil and haliburton - no, no you will not find me defending him and I have every right to be suspicious of him. I find his actions no different than Polk finding an excuse to provoke war with Mexico. Do you not find it suspicious he was all about attacking Hussein for supposed WMD's and very little backing of terrorist groups (who doesn't in the middle east), meanwhile that nut job in Iran continues to threaten peace in the Middle East, to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth, AND is currently attempting to get nuclear weapons (has been actually)?
If Bush attacked Iran - you would not hear a single thing from me. Hussein was simply a big Iraqi bully - no worse than half the countries in Africa.

I am also not a liberal, I found Obama to be the lesser of two evils. Both parties have flaws.
Also in typical political fashion - McCain may have warned about the housing bubble, but what he said he would do for our health insurance is the same and would have caused just as big a mess.
But they can't use his body as a tool to promote terrorism.
