Now that is a nice one. I bought a Ruger Super Redhawk while I was stationed in Alaska. I was told that would just piss a bear off! Ha I never found out. Did have an encounter with a moose once but she finally went the other way. That is a beautiful hand cannon!

Very nice guys. Its nice to see some other owners out there and the sweet collections. Mine is in its infant stages. Only have few. Always seems to be something the kiddos need more.

Here are the CO2 powered weapons I tinker with these days. nickel plated Colt, distressed 1911 and Beretta CX4 Storm.

When I bought the nickel plated Colt, the guy had a real one out for comparison, he was talking to me and put the pellet gun in the .44's box...it weighs the same and looks very similar. It uses cartridges that you put a pellet into and has to be loaded like a real one-CO2 goes in the handle. It will bury a pellet into a block of wood-no problem at all.

I use plastic thumbtacks to hold the targets up and I am able to hit the tacks with the 1911 at 20ft.

I can't use the CX4 storm inside as it will destroy the 3/4 plywood I use as a back drop, it has 30 rotary magazines and about 550-600 fps, lots of fun to destroy cans with. It uses an 88 gr CO2 canister

I had no idea that these were even out there as C02's and they look real for sure. I thought they were till I started reading. Very nice and just a fun to shoot I bet. Shooting is shooting.

When I moved to Alaska I had a lot of weapons then but Uncle Sam moved them their for me. We were allowed as military to keep them in quarters on base. When I moved/PCS'd I took them with me in a UHAUL loaded in the nose. I'm glad at the boarder they didn't empty the UHAUL as I'm not sure they would have approved. Canada was a beautiful place to see first hand on my drive up. Amazingly beautiful and the peeps were friendly to me/family/two pups.

I stumbled across these from a friend of mine who was shooting them. He used to be a mil-spec competitive shooter and said these are as much fun as anything he used to shoot.

I watched lots of review videos on them and in the one for the Colt Peacemaker, the shooter said it is a real Colt Peacemaker only it's CO2.

I like being able to shoot in my garage whenever I want,

I took the Berretta to a jungle lane run by a friend of mine and he was really impressed at how it performed. A few guys tried it out and after a couple runs, they were shooting very accurately.

I pulled in at Eielson AFB in 1998. I've been on Ft Wainwright many times.... had them cut on me a few times. I always like the Army docs. Much better then the HairForce. Ha

you were right to put them in the nose. because you are wise to think they would not take it well at the border. :)
