Bleed Nipple

The bleed nipple on my hayabusa was leaking some brake fluid. I know that the nipple mates with the calipar and should seal the system but the fluid was coming out from the treads. So i put some PTFE Tape around the treads and its stopped leaking as yet is this acceptable to do this.

should be fine as long as it does not get past the threads and into the system...the smallest trash can back up a system.

Not sure what DOT4 will do the to tape though?
