I dont know If people want it and can trace they can just as easily go online and look up titles for busas sold in the last few years then they can tell you your tag number ..Guess people just feel better . I personally keep mine in a alarmed shed with a chow rott and a 45 auto so if they want it good luck . Besides if they wanted bad enough they could get it without your tag..Thats why I pay insurance and the new 07 sure sounds good .. I work wierd hours and always someone here whem im not if i go on vacation without the bike it goes to my mothers garage..

usually 9 out of 10 of the idiots on the street that see you dont know they can get your address with a tag number or dont know how to go about doing it. on the other hand there are a lot of lurkers on the net that are a lot smarter and do know how to get it done. thats why you dont post personal info on the net.

man! just think...if it was so easy to find out where you lived, every bad ass car, bike, jet ski, lawn mower, bicycle, tricycle, weed eater, skate board, electric chair, and even the leaf blower would be gone!!!!!!!!!!! hide your plate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I can't hide it on the street. The cops get a little pissedI think the question is whats the difference of hiding it Online and not on the street? Sorry.Just for security. Anyone can take a plate # and get your address, the blam your bike is stolen.
Its not to say your bike will get stolen anyway, but why make it any easier for those thieving bast@rds!!
But I can hide it from the internet. Like I said its not full proof, its just what I can do. Why make it any easier for them.
Like one of the guys a couple posts up said. Crooks who think, can use the internet to research potential bikes. We all love to post pics and describe all of our mods, we're telling them everything they want to know.

If I wanted to steal a Hayabusa, this site would be the first place I'd look. If I were a crook... but that's just me.

It's just bad juju to put your personal info on the net, personal to include pics of your license plates. Amazing what can be done with the info. Hard to remember a plate number when driving, easy to remember when you have a pic of it from the web...
