BMC filter

1 bar up on low has worked on the microns.no i did not get my muzzy yet.i'll see rob and doug in columbus.they offered me the display pipe but i said i would wait.

A friend of mine, who has a GSXR750, simply put universal pod type filters over his ram air intakes coming into the box and removed the stock filter. With rejetting etc, that bikes hauls *** ! ...also has some engine mods...but it seems to work..

dyno'd a 99 today.150hp 93#torque.did full box mod and filter with pc2.got 161.3and over 100# torque with stock pipes on dj 200.do that with the bmc.430$ parts and labor.including the pc2 and the dyno pulls.i'm done preaching.do whatever i'm done on this topic.

Relax buddy, I'm giving Gixx1300 my brand new BMC and you'll get my box next week. I trust you on the mapping. I'm just getting sick of the 3000rpm stumble.

I don't think anyones arguing that one way is better than the other. I had ordered this filter 4 months ago and I'm certainly going to use it for now.

What does it take to change over to your airbox? By then I should have a shop I am comfortable with remapping etc.

i posted the box mod to prevent people from buying a filter that is of small benefit.i posted on labusas on how to do the mod.omega i'm not twisting your arm.i thought you offed the stumble when you leaned ot the map?you should have called.i'd have helped you out for what it's worth to get that out.i'd try the base stock map a +1+1+1to start.you know my nuber call me at home if you cannot get ahold of me here.
