im going to go through a process of elimination...i double checked my gipro and its in 5th gear map. i have had problem if i go to start the bike and i hit the starter switch too fast after not starting it will somewhat overload and my pc3 usb has lost its map. ill double check it in the am as i did have this happen just before the bash. ill report it in am. from there then im going to have to enlist help figuring out what to check next if map is ok... also if anyone has other than the dynojet dual high mount HMF map with airbox mod and aftermarket filter. my email is chrisjp@neo.rr.com as i lost couple other maps you folks had thrown at me when my computer needed reformating. one im useing from dynojet is the m312-019

ok i double checked and the map was still in the power comander. so i simply reloaded it fresh from the computer. i cant take it for a test drive today as it is wet. ill update after i can test.

Good luck on getting it to run smooth fast and in a safe window...there is nothing worse than driving something knowing it used to be better. Do you think a bum tank of fuel could be the throwing you off?

not sure yet...may in the process be draining the tank also

Ok drove to work today... Still pulls but after 7k i. Feel hesitation. Is there a way to check fuel pressure? Trying to decide next step in the process of elimination. Plugs? Suggestions please. Any gen 1 small airbox mod with full hmf dual high mount maps options please email me.

The map u listed isap for the pcv im useing the pc3usb and its corresponding 312-019 map. Same one i have always used.

had the same problem with my gsxr 1000 the orings started breaking down i had the clean the filter inside the tank and get my injectors cleaned after that it ran like a champ

Seems to me that at high revs, experiencing any loss of power relates to fuel not being fed, don't know if the buss has an online fuel filter but that would be my first step in trout, troubleshooting.

lol funny DO3... but im leaning to fuel pressure and delevery issues...i will have to look at the maint manual and see procedure to check pressure if any.

also anyone got a link to a 2006 service manual i have a older pdf file that still has the fuel pump not in the tank so i need a newer manual link please

I haven't looked but I bet there's a shrader valve on the fuel rail for a test gauge.

Also search fuel pump threads. I've seen several great ones with pix. So easy , even a cave man can do it stuff.

That happened to me this year already, but it was just my air filter needing a good old fashioned cleaning.
