bored at work - made my own bottle bracket

It looks great ! Never purge it.....just smash it

With the short arm,i am back in the trunck for now with the busa.

On the 12 the bottle is on the arm. I have some closed cell foam zip tied on the bottle. It helps.....as do 6 am starts. (no purge) I shortened up the 12 a little also,so i had to go back to 1.25 lb. bottles.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys - it got rave reviews around the town this weekend.

GC - check your PM's.

chevelle - why the shorter w/b on your bikes? just curious

I like my bikes to do it all. Long and low is great to put down a big shot, but then everything else suffers. Turning, braking and ride quality goes away,i grow tired of that.

Right now both bikes have a pretty tame setup and they are a blast to ride. The busa is less then 1'' over, stock r/h,18-43/44 gearing with a tall 180/55 tire. With a girly .026 jet, it's just fun to ride.

The 12 is less then 2'' over, stock r/h and gearing, with a .034 jet.(I will be thumbing the starter button on this in a few minutes)

how much difference can you tell between the stack and 1" extension?

It's subtle but there is a difference. The arm is a Mcintosh +1.75'' set all the way to the short side.
With 17-40 it's at the end of the adjstment and a bit more efective at keeping the front down.

With a .026 jet it does not come up at all in second.
