Bought Ducati Diavel Carbon

Nice ride.

I test rode one during the Ducati ride day. They are much lighter than they look. Really like the seating position and the handlebars. The clutch and gearbox are so smooth.

Still like the Hayabusa better, but the Ducati is really a great fun bike to ride!

enjoy!!!

Was looking at these on the web yesterday, how much did it cost, here in England they are £16.000, $25.000.
They look amazing close up pics don't do them justice.

Saw a carbon in Colchester one day, had just one pipe though, looked very nice.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys:thumbsup:, and for the ones that didn't post due to thinking its butt ugly and hating Ducati, thank you for keeping it to yourselfs:beerchug:

- Newman, the carbon edition has a msrp of $20k, I paid cash, also had a trade in, so I paid no where near that, I dealt with 3 dealers, best deal got my money.

I love that bike:thumbsup: I especially like the hugger style rear fender! Would have ruined the rear with the stalk sticking down from the undertail.

I don't know if I hate you more because you have the bike of my dreams or because your garage is so clean:laugh:

Let us know more when you get some miles on it. Do you have a Busa? I would like to hear a comparison.

Cannot compare the 2 other than they are both 2 wheeled vehicles. Not being a SA, they are just that different.
The Duc is a fine machine, unique in looks and stature. Great power for a bike as such, 162hp, claimed. smooth, great brakes, handles really well, especially for having such a large rear tire.
I didn't like the seating. It's just me. My legs are long and really was uncomfortable. The seat puts you in a single position, there is no moving. If I had an extra $25K laying around...maybe as an addition.

I have loved the look of that bike since it came out. The carbon edition looks even better. Keep us posted on your thoughts as you get more seat time.

Saturday headed out to Omaha Ducati and picked up a carbon diavel, have some pics to share.

I am going to get exhaust right away, something very small that shows the entire wheel off.

Best sounding bike IMHO...

That bike is totally unique..... Gorgeous , have always loved the look of carbon fiber. Enjoy it

Well I have put about 500 miles on the bike now, love the very usable power and midrange grunt, also like not having to wrap it out to get the power like I did on the s1krr, brakes are just killer. Bike handles very good but pegs start to drag when you really are getting it, had a blast on a few good roads up north yesterday, the pull comming out of corners is awesome.

For Christmas my friend bought me a ducati performance carbon rear hugger, and I also installed a competetion werkes fender eliminator. I am also going to get exhaust, shortly, still looking.

Beautiful bike! I see Ducati offers some nice accessories in addition to the rear fender (what a great gift!). I like the "roadster windshield kit" and see they offer a "satellite navigation system," which would be nice, but it's not compatible with the roadster windshield kit. I think the exhaust (with the carbon center piece) will complete the look. Ducati offers a complete Termi system, but it's probably ridiculously expensive.

All you need is a big windscreen so you can get it up over 100mph. When you get tired of it, let me know, I have a standing offer of $4000 to you right now!

Yes, I'm generous like that!
