Brake fade

So I took the Busa out for some fun today. Went an empty housing development to cut some corners. On laps 1-4 I am hard of the brakes lifting the rear a little bit and sliding it around. All around good time. On lap 5 I come into a corner and grab the brake and nothing. I pull harder and still nothing. I grabbed some more rear to try and slow down, but that made the slide worse. Finally I ended up going over road for some dirt biking at 40 mph.

I understand that I had some brake fade, but is that expected from the 2008. Someone there told me that it is the rubber lines getting hot and expanding. Said get some SS lines and some grippier pads and I should be fine.

Sounds about right?

All in all the busa handed fantastic! Not band for a 500 pound bike.

Even though I don't like them myslef I know EBC HH pads will work great under heat and not fade. The stock pads are made to work very well already when cold, but will fade sooner than a more track oriented pad like the EBC's.
