Broke my helmet today...

I did this also, about 2weeks after getting the Busa. Scared me more than anything...damn riparian areas.

I am sending pics and email to Scorpion to thank them for making a nice helmet and pleadingly asking for a new side subassembly. Motorola sent me a new back cover for my phone when it broke, so crossing fingers.

Those Scorpions are good helmets from what I have seen so far. (Snell, Kevlar, the whole deal)

Glad you came out relatively unscathed. That is just gross.

bounced a couple of sparrows off the shild on my ST1100 a couple of years ago, I ducked, they bounced... nothing broke.

Glad your okay. The bird was obviously jealous because it couldn't fly as fast as the Busa and attacked you!

Glad your okay! But, there something strange happening. In the last two weeks I had, on different occasions, three pigeons fly at me. The first one right at my helmet. Scared the **** out of me and can not beleive it did not hit me. The other two at the nose of the bike?

Definately "something in the air" most likely jealousy.

Let's see my interesting few days:

Friday after school, I killed a Rattle Snake, tried stomping on him, but that pissed him off, so I smacked him with a BFR, got the rattlers for my friend. About an hour later, riding home, I had an Africanized Bee zip down the neck opening of my jacket, stinging me in the left pectoral area....my man breast was swollen, red and had a nice raised circular area with the stinger dot in the center...he fell out when I de-robed.

Sat I hit the Grouse, exploding it on impact, and still have a slightly stiff neck, but fine elsewise.

Sunday riding back from getting my haircut, I had the largest fricken grasshopper I've ever seen or heard of smack me in my chest (just a LS Shirt on, no jacket). At first I thought the azzclown in front of me threw something out the window, seen a open hand sized object flying right at me no time to react, smack! I was like WTF? Then my chest n shoulder were stinging, I looked down to make sure I wasn't bleeding or something and perched on my left thigh is this humangus grasshopper, so I flicked him off the thigh and thought..."WTF is going on? Is this a result of global warming?"
