BTMOTO VS CARBONSMITH.

They stop traffic on the roads and check people for drinking/smoking and driving. I live in wine country so they set them up on the back roads get catch the people think they’re sneaky not going the main way through town to the freeway.
I know that, we have them here for drinking.
I meant the smoking, as you said it was for 4-20, how do they check for that?
Do they just have to catch you smoking?

no you can tell when someone is high. motor reflexes are off and they fail the horizontal gaze instagmus. Eyes will twitch vertically when stoned. Also be bloodshot. Inability to focus etc. Driving high you will be slow on reaction as well. Thats why they came out with DUI terminology. Driving under the influence of anything that can alter your ability to safely operate a vehicle. Prescription drugs also fall under DUI.

So it's still based on officer judgement then, as there's still no drug test to tell how recently you did it.

It’s California, they play by their own rules lol. We have soccer moms get DUi’s for being in Xanax dropping their kids off at school.

From my experience they go off odor, then give you a field sobriety test and make judgments off of that.

...or they wave a piece of pizza in front of you and if you lunge at it, you are probably stoned...the faster you lunge, the more stoned you are....:lol:
 
Here the cops carry saliva screening kits for testing for drugs of any sort.
The can and do set up roadside tests not only for drink driving, but driving under the influence of drugs.
If they believe the test returns a positive, or even if they have doubts, then can request, (enforce) a blood or urine test.
 
Okay so because I had a delayed and shitty flight i programmed my dragy app to measure 50-105 (2nd gear only)
60-130
60-160 (2nd through redline in 4th)
80-160 (max effort 2nd - 4th)

I’m going to try to make a 50-160 pull just in 4th to mimic a dyno but no promises on that one lol.


I figure that’s about as real world comparisons as i can get
 
I got the CM/CS data tonight.
My dragy didn’t get all the metrics I wanted, but it got enough.

Average of 3 pulls

50-105 : 3.765s
60-130: 6.12
100-150: 7.285

Pulled back into the garage and got to work.


There was a LOT more raw fuel on the top of the airbox than I expected to find. It doesn’t come out too well in photos but there was enough fuel if you dragged your fingers across it they were wet/slippery.

The BT parts dropped in super easy and fit was great too.

The one thing I fucked up on was not reading and seeing the BT moto tuner didn’t come pre loaded with the flash, and needs a windows computer to do it. We only have mac at home so I’ll take the tuner to work with me tomorrow and get it loaded and be ready tomorrow night.

Finally got the email. BT testing should happen tonight. It rained last night here in CA but it’s supposed to be 70 so the road should be dry.

im curious what its going to be like with the BT stacks and the CM tune...... See what difference just the stacks make
The bike rode weird, especially under WOT. Not bad necessarily but I will give credit to CM his tune ride ability made smooth power everywhere.
 
Oooookay I’m over technology and officially hate everything. My phone’s sim decided to fry itself, but the dragy still connected so ‍♂️

the BT flash and stacks hit hard. The bike just feels like it constantly wants to good time eat. Every pull kept getting faster and faster as I remember to rev it out farther and farther.

With this being said, I’m a fat dude that can’t get behind the windscreen and slow the bike down on all fronts. The BT stuff definitly feels faster and more agressive. I’ll repeat everything in a few weeks after im used to reving the bike out because it really shines 9K+. I loved my CM setup, it made smooth power everywhere and never felt twitchy. The BT shifts harder, pulls harder, definitly has a more noticeable happy window of work. There’s a few group rides I plan to go on so we’ll see how the BT stuff does 4th and 5th gear Highway riding, but from the 30
Miles I put on it tonight I do t think it will really be a noticeable difference.
 
Okay after a week of riding. The BT moto setup is better on the Highway especially if you ride spiritedly in 5th (we cruise 90-105 usually). Low rpm cruising (went in a ride with Harley guys and law abiding red light to red light stuff the CM setup was better)

I’ve averaged to pull .13 off of the 60-130 and .17 100-150 and still getting faster. This BT moto setup just loves to rev out forever I’m going to mess with some sprocket changes to see what other time I can pull out of it

Thanks for the feedback. I have the Woolich autotune with sprint street filter. I have a way different exhaust setup. I have a full dual exhaust from a GEN2 YOSH. I have purchased the carbon smith and will have CM do the Touch up tune remotely. Carbon Smith is 20 % off this month with code. I will see what is what by 2nd week of June
