I used to ride with a guy who was very competitive. I even let him ride lead all the time to try and dampen his alpha dog thing. But when we got out in the open it was always about competition. In the office always about competition. I finally realized that it was better not to ride with him and boy am I happy about that decision.

The guys I ride with are always joking about being faster or who's bike is faster but it never goes out on the road with us.

good post crazyarch. being competitive has it's place ( like the track or at work) but it's nice to be able to enjoy a ride with friends that ride together, not race each other. :thumbsup:
 
Its no fun when you have a bunch of people trying to out do one another on motorcycles. all thats going to happen is option A you get ticketed or option B you or your friends wind up hurt. TRACKS ARE FOR RACING, ROADS ARE FOR GETTING THERE! :rulez:

oh and to keep this thread on track... umm if yer gonna race win... if yer not gonna race then go ride and have fun.. I don't personally race anyone on the bike.... that is what the track and my car is for. :)
