Nice riding on the track. She's fast on the straights and not too bad in the turns. Great job!

Charlie, thanks again for helping me out, and the advise with the flat spot that almost got me. You all kicked some tail out there.

After Felix went down in turn 5 we invented a new saying this weekend about tires...if in doubt, swap it out! Glad you got some track time under your belt.

Do you feel like some of the things you learned and experienced at the track will translate to you being a better street rider?

Ok, here is Trey's video that I shot following him in the last session of N. Fastest time on my timer was a 2:10.

Yes, that's me giving running commentary, mostly "don't run off the track!" and "over HERE is the line!"

All I need are two things.

A decent set of leathers....

And a permission slip to go 'racing'.

The first one will be easier to obtain than the second

The commentary was great; "slow down, slow DOWN, you're on a Busa, you're going to blow that turn, yep you blew it". This is the best training tool I have had. Can't wait fro the next trip. Going for 1:55. Thanks again Keith

For sure. Although there is so much more to be watching for out on the roads, the track time will definately improve your defensive ability on the roads.

The only way you are gonna lose 15 seconds next trip is going to be in the back of the Ambulance as it's tearing around the track to rush you to the emergency room....take this in SMALL BITES. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't wad up that pretty bike pushing your luck.

Let's work on 2:05 first, then 2:00...We spent all weekend fighting for TWO seconds.....It took me a year to get under two minutes.

"Get off the bike!" LOL I was yelling the same thing at the screen...the main thing is...you got out there and DID it...good on you! How cool to be able to get track time at Barber:thumbsup:
