Busa/BKing

I'd ge the BKing, I have my bars aised 30mm and dropped the rear 2 inches. It takes the forward lean out of the bike and makes it much more comfortable. If I could, I'd get the bars two inches towards the rear of the bike. But, it is much more comfortable than a lot of bikes. Good Luck!

Go buy a HD RoadGlide like I'm about to do. All the comfort you need. I will get another Busa down the road.

I've had my 08 Busa since May, and loved and ridden them for years. I have a gel seat and just raised the bars 1.25", but it's still not that comfortable anymore. It's not the bike, it's me, too many injuries over the years, and my body is no longer liking the lean(back and wrists).
My next step is a Corbin seat, and I really don't wanna lower the rear, I'm 5'10" and easily flatfoot the bike with a slightly bent knee.
I've had Corbins before and they're great, but time will tell if it's enough. If not...it pains me to say, but the Busa will have to go.
Any suggestions?
If I do sell it, I'll be replacing it with a BKing, haven't ridden one, but sitting on it, I know it's comfortable enough.

I can tell it as a Physiotherapist...I don't think that your back can feel better riding "sit with no lean)...Maybe your wrists do...NOT your back...SIT-position is the worst position for your back...too much pressure on your 5th and 6th vertebra...

I had similar issue's. Used to own to faired Busa's (02 and 04)
Now have a B-King and the 02 Busa with a top yolk conversion and bar's.
Fixed my problem's and im much happier now.

I went the streetfighter route on my Busa but you dont have to.
The top yolk kit came with slightly pulled back risers to clear the fairing,
I swapped them for uprights.

Just be aware that the Busa and B-King ARE different animals that share an engine.
I've had my B-King for 3 years and although its great fun there are area's that
it cant match a Busa on.
The B-King is a little longer and heavier, not drastically but still a step in the wrong direrection.
Has a poor 16.5ltr tank size. Is nowhere near as good for pillions.
B-King lacks legroom under the tank but probably not an issue if your 5'10" ?

There is no good/bad right/wrong comparison between the Busa and B-King,
only a case of which one suits your needs.

I know you've been on more than a few, but besides my butt I think the 1k's feel more comfortable. I don't feel as leaned & stretched over as I do on my Busa.

Not sure if something like this would help you ?
Its always an option and no harm in knowing whats out there....

This was an old thread, but the problem persists. Those bars are the best I've seen. I'm gonna buy em as soon as I have the extra cash. Thanks Alot!:beerchug:

Suzuki finally makes a comfortable naked bike with the power of a sportbike which is want we really want, then they make it look so Buck Rogers nobody will buy it. Why ??? Now I imagine they'll go back to making underpowered "detuned" naked bikes which of course won't sell that well because we want sportbike power in a comfortable more upright package. These guys are lost when it comes to what the U.S. market wants in a naked bike :poke:
