Busa not starting :(

So I just finished doing the air box mod on my 2005 busa and I took it out for a test drive, I went and drove to the local motorsports shop here in town about four miles away and purchased a new ivans tre (tre-5), came back out and the bike started up no problems and ran wonderfully. So when I got home I pulled the bike into the garage and hooked up the new tre. After I put everything back together I go to start up the bike and I just turns over once and gives no more juice. The battery was perfectly fine and I tried this several times and it would only turn over once each time. Hooked up the jumper cables to my truck and same results. Can anyone give any insight as to why it's causing this?

Any help would be awesome- thanks

2nd, where are you? Possible something was pulled when installing the TRE and now you have a bad contact or something...

Take the tre off and see if it starts up without it

since it started fine before the tre, remove the tre, and recheck your steps. more than likely a bad connection.

Yeah I immediately disconnected the tre right after I ran into that problem. The thing that's weird about it though is the fact that it will only turn over once and then the power from the battery will give out. I've never had problems with my battery and the bike only has about 1470 miles on it. I then hooked it up to some jumper cables from my truck, let the battery charge up a little bit and tried to start again while still hooked up and still the same thing. Do you think that the gear position sensor can keep the engine from turning over and actually completing the combustion cycle in order for the bike to start?

Problem solved :) I did a once over today and checked all the connections in that immediate area and all the wires, all of them where pretty snug but I guess whatever I did worked cause it started right up after that. I think that a wire might have been grounding out somewhere and pulling all the power from the battery when I went to start it up. Runs fine, I've got my power commander set on lower part of the power band so that added with the air box mod and the tre and it's running extremely strong. Hoping to get it dyno'ed out and remapped soon.
Thanks everyone for your help. :beerchug:
