(BusaWhipped @ Jul. 31 2007,17:27) Sized the bike to match the size of the rider.

They're just wheelie machines that are so easy to give too much throttle in the corner....

If you had a chance to date a gorgeous, hot, longlegged, big busted chick with a reputation for getting a little nasty when asked, or a lovely lady that you can take to church, but forget about the nasty stuff, which would you pick? (And they both cost the same money).

It was a no brainer decision, although the salesman did recommend the GSX R1000 for me due to my inexperience with sport bikes. Matter of fact, due to my age and experience with strictly cruisers, and my present ride a Honda VTX, he thought the M109 would suit me the best. Dam salesmen anyway!

I have both the busa and liter sized bikes. Love them all. But the Busa is a Bad *****. The others give me thrills but the Busa is just unique and EVERY time I get on it I can't but help feeling like king of the road.

I can't stand it when people who have maybe ridden it once or hear about the size and weight and say the busa can't handle. THEY DON'T KNOW CRAP. My busa handles great and takes the twisties just fine. Sure I'm not going to set lap times at the track but for the street it handles awesome.

Love my busa will never get rid of it. NEVER. The others I can see in the future if something better comes along trading in, but not the busa.

As far as 600's and 750's go, they are okay but not for me. They just don't give me the thrills the bigger bikes do. I like the arm wrenching power and the extra throttle control that is needed because of the power and torque. 6's and 750s I can pin the throttle without having to worry about the front end coming up or the tail end sliding out. I like the more challenging bigger bikes.

I'm a big guy and a literbike isn't for me. Last year i almost sold my Busa to get a 999 Ducati. I really wanted to do it, but i could view the 999 as my only rider. When even the Ducati salesmen are saying your crazy to want to ride a 999 long distances, i knew i'd have to wait till i can get one as a second bike.

(Rainer3012 @ Aug. 01 2007,10:31) I've been thinking about 750's and liters but I'm not sure either would be as much fun as the busa.
I would probably agree if I was in Central Florida....but, up here in the mountains each bike has it's role.

wanted one bike to do it ALL, not most of it. liter doesn't do it ALL. Busa does, and now so do I

5ft 11in 245lbs Is a little too much for a litre. Busa is comfortable and fast like my Dodge Ram Quad Cab.

My first bike ever was an 01 Busa -- sold it in 04 because I was absolutely addicted to the power and speed of the bike. Missed riding terribly, so I bought an 04 CBR1000RR for street/twisties -- never liked riding it on the street because I always compared it to the Busa. It is now my track only bike... Now I also have an 06 Busa, which I plan to keep... Lesson learned -- there is no bike like the Busa...

I'm not a track rider, or a twisties rider: I love to cruise and burn up long straight-aways. Plus the Busa is more comfortable and has better color schemes. Plus the bike is just f**king HOT!

Honestly? I was looking to get an '05 1000 back in 2005. That was the same year they totally revamped it. At that time I didn't like way it looked (I do now). Fact being I had just sold my 600, I didn't want a 750. I didn't like the way the 1000 looked but I wanted a Suzuki. The Hayabusa was the next choice and the bike I wanted since I first saw it in '99. I wasn't sure I was ready for it since I just got off of a 600 though.

I took a chance and got it. I've never regreted doing so!
