My first bike was an '84 900 ninja which I sold after a year. Here it is 2000 and they finally have made the bike I've been waiting for. After 15 years, and 2 ZX11 test rides in between, is a Busa too much bike for me?

It all in you wrist, this is the only way it get's out of hand. You can ride at 40mph all day or go 140mph if you wish. The Busa will surpize you on what it can do for it's size,
I am haveing a blast on my 00 Blue. Just have
respect the for the power all in you right hand and you will do fine, enjoy!

I agree, It is only as fast as you twist the throttle. It is a joy to ride at any speed.
Take your time and work your way up to full throttle. You only need about 1/4 throttle to leave the rest of the world in your mirrors. The bike is not going to just jump out from under you. Buy and enjoy.

This bike is awesome!

Even while not exceeding 5500rpm during the break-in period, the Busa was a blast to ride. It has so much power, and torque it's amazing.

I seriously don't think you will be disapointed.

PS Blue is the way to go!

This bike won't jump out from under you ,but it will slap you in the chest with the fuel tank if you flick the throttle too quick in 1st or 2nd gear.Remember this. :)

BUSA00021, I must have the old mans verson of the Busa, the only way it would slap me in the chest in 2nd is maybe if I slipped the clutch. It will dance in 1st with a quick twist, Even at pretty low RPM if the tank is not full. I got the 42 tooth rear sprocket on too. I really love the sprocket by the way.

Got a Blue Baby & No words describe it --
agree you control it .....more compliments & conversation than my old Wide Glide HD.

Horse.
