Either that gen 2 14 rider was 100 lbs heavier than the gen 1 rider, or that mod list is inaccurate. Setting aside for a minute that the gen 2 rider obviously has no skills, there's still no way a stock gen 1 traps the same as a modded gen 2 if riders are the same (or even similar) weight. Having ridden both busa's and 14's, both gens of each, a gen 2 14 is hands down the most powerful and noticeably quickest of them all. I came to that conclusion personally after discussion with the owners of all bikes having traded back and forth. Handling and comfort depend on rider, but the gen 2 14 also has the best brakes by far.
I'm a Suzi fan, and dedicated Busa owner, but that 2nd gen 14 is a nasty %itch....
