Busabrah sorry to hear you went down. Doesnt sound like much to get you back up and running except your pride in da hood.

But since you have it apart if theirs anything that needs changed nows the time to do it. Since your putting new/repainting inner panels. If theirs any cutting to be done, such as a flush mounted anything, digigear, speakers or whatever now you can do it.
 
if helmet took a good hit it's agood thing you were wearing one-hope all goes well with repairs----
 
Glad you're good bro. I just ordered a set of carbon inner fairings if you need my stockers they're yours as soon as I get my new ones.
 
oh damn. Real glad you're ok, bro. Th damage at least sounds minimal...although I know NO damage is better than any.

Good thing you had your gear on. Anything I can help with, let me know and I'll do what I can.

I acctually had a little scare myself a couple of weeks ago. I was pulling of to a store and saw a friend looked down and the curb was close, i over reacted and did a stopie.

at first i felt like an ####### then I was relieved and then I thought "well that was kinda cool!"

could thing my friend is straight blind or else he would have mucked with me... he thought I pulled up in a new car with some loud exhaust

Glad to hear your ok. I'll tell you a quick one to make you feel better. I had one back on May 19th. Pulled out onto a road and through it up in the air. Road it through 2nd and when it come down ready to grab third a lady desided to turn infront of me.She was heading across my lane to go onto an on rap to get to the highway.I slammed on both brakes and I just had in my head that i'm not going to stop.I was going alittle to fast.The last thing I wanted to do is slam off of the car so I let off the front brakes and stayed on the rear locked up.I figured that I would try and slide towards the back end of the car.The next thing I rememberd was a lady in the hospital telling me that they were going to move me to my room now from intensive care. I broke my right colar bone-six ribs and punctured my lung. I hit my head so hard that I broke a bone in my ear.I was in the hospital for 9 days.I go back to work at the end of the month here.Some how i mist the car thank God.They said that there were 45ft of skid marks until the bike hit the ground and slid 80 yards.They also said that I slid 40 yards. I was realy supprised to see my bike only had road rash mainly on the middle right fairing.A scuff on the front fender and a scuff on the tail.Right side pipe was trashed and a scuff on the right mirror but still rideable and nothing broken but the little ball at the end of the front brake lever. Got it all ripped apart and getting painted.Changed the parts that were broke or scuffed.Just waiting for the body work back from getting painted.I can't wait to get back on.Damn near healing up all summer.Still can't hear a 100% out of the right ear and have to see that doc. again but i'm healed back up and breathin good again. Glad yer ok, bbro. It always sucks to see a "went down" post, but at the same time it's always a joy to know that the person who actually went down was able to type his own "went down" story!

Good to hear your ok Brian, you got me thinking I need to wear my jacket and gloves more often.  As far as the plastic is concerned let me know if your staying stock or going custom.  I can put you in touch with my painters, give a call if you need anything.
 
It sounds like ron ayers it is. Thanks for the quick responses. I hate being down for long peiods of time, but the things that needed to be fixed to ride again were the stator cover, windscreen and undertail. I have already purchased and installed the windscreen (finally a sweet ass blue chrome see through DB. Needed one anyway) and also a chrome stator cover, (which the last one was polished.) I ordered the undertail from rumble import today for 189.00 and it will be here wednesday and installed wednesday. I will have to suck it up till next week for the fairing, so i will be scratched up this weekend at our bike wash, but i will be riding.
