Busa's beware?

It wouldn't take much to make the Busa faster. Look at the compression ratio. It's 11 and something or other to 1. The 12's is 12.2 to 1. The 14's is 12.7 to 1. Bumping the Busa's compression ratio up a notch or 2 would make a big difference in it's performance. Maybe that's what Suzuki will do.
Well, it looks like I've overstayed my welcome here, at least according to one of your members. Right GSXTacy?
It's been nice. You guys take care and enjoy them Hayabusa's. They're good, fast, proven bikes. I won't post anymore, but I'll lurk here once in a while to see what's going on and how you guys are doing.
Adios.

Did I miss something? Where in the post did he say you overstayed your welcome? He simply responded to your comments regarding your preceived shortcomings of the busa. I also have over 10K miles on my 05. I have not had it pop out of gear, broke the chain, or fallen off the stand! Maybe its because I know how to ride and properly park a bike, and maintain the chain. The post may have been better served by posting in the smack section because thats what your talking SMACK! If you don't ride a busa how would you know anything about the ownership experience? If you desire the 14 buy one. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do our busas. Most of us who own the busa did not buy it because it would always be the speed king. We bought them for the styling, reliability, performance, and overall ownership experience!

SEVEN YEARS FROM NOW, when the zx-13.5r has built up a rep by not blowing engines, suffering crappy quick construction, has a host of mods available, fills the winners circle at drag strips consistantly, fills the list of most used bike joining the 200MPH clubs, and it's parent company is taking home trophys at cycle races, I see them at local trackdays, and pricing is brought back to the 10k cap, I'll glance over to the 13.5r's owner and say, "NOW you can understand where I'm coming from"
