thanks but I think that thread is about something else
Yeah, that thread is about the big Kanji....
I think you are talking about an air shifter. They allow you to perform upshifts without using the clutch, or letting out of the throttle. I have a CO2 system, using the horn button. I love mine, and haven't experienced anything negative.

I've never personally used the Pingel, but I haven't heard good things about it. For all the raving that people do about the ability the electric units have to downshift they seem to be quirky, only work part of the time, and need constant adjustments.

If you're just looking for fast full throttle upshifts you can't beat a good air over electric shifter. I'd get one of the high pressure systems on the market right now just because you don't have to worry about running a compressor and the bottle won't run out after about 10 shifts.

Be warned that many of the kill boxes in the A over E systems will throw the FI light on most fuel injected sport bikes. There's a board sponsor selling a very nice looking one that he claims will not throw trouble codes or the FI light, but I can neither confirm nor deny this. All I know is the kit looks very nice, is priced right, and comes from someone here on the board so it's probably a good deal. If you wait until after the holidays he's supposed to come out with an auto shift addition as well.

Am I cheap or is this pricey???

DEVLDOG, I have the Pingle Fully Electric Up/Down System. I love it! It's an exellent system but it does take more adjusting the other systems though I believe it's a much better system. It cost more but the looks and the performance that you get out of the Pingle System are phenomenal. I have had mine for about a year now. The first week after I had it installed was very difficult. I kept having to adjust it, and it never worked right. So finally I called Pingle and they walked me through it all. Turns out we had a spacer on wrong, and that was causing the shifter to catch, and not operate correctly. Since then I have never had a problem with it. The system works effortlessly. If you want to shift up, then push the button, down, do the same, it's really crazy though I warn you it does make you the rider lazy! Here is a picture of my system. Hope this helps you out!

I watched the video and it looks like a really cool system. Its nice to know that someone on the board has one and is happy with it.
