DEVLDOG, Yes you can shift normally or use the up / down button. If you want to use the system then you have to activate it, meaning when you first switch on the ignition, you have to hold the shift down button for 3 or 4 seconds. That activates the system untill you turn the bike off. When the system is on you can use it anytime you want, at full throttle or not. The Pingle Microcomputer automatically kills the ignition, and you can adjust the amount of time the ignition kills. I think mine is around 10 milliseconds. This allows you to shift with out using the clutch.
You can use it at any speed you want, I sometime use it all the time, and others, I don't use it at all! Let me know if you want some pictures of it, Just PM me and we can exchange e-mail address. It's a great system and is very eye appealing and much more advanced then the CO2 systems and you don't have to have any onboard comp ressors. I get alot of compliments on it.
