State Farm has always been good to us. Paid the claim on fixing my wife's bike about four years ago. No arguments, no issues whatsoever. Even paid for the helmet after we let them know it was damaged in the crash.

Good idea to check your policy every time you get the renewal.

Not sure what a 928 would be worth but it sounds like the agent had some responsibility here... small claims or work with State Farms claims dept. negotiate ... u dont ask, u dont get.
